I still use my spinner. Sometimes I just like the ease of the good old pen style.
I ordered in round 1. Order 393. Still waiting, but being patient and staying in respectful contact with the vendor for info. So I am in the same shoes as most. Actually my clone is Blue, so I'm seeing higher numbers get shipped out, but I understand the color issue. I chose blue, so I will have to wait. Now, back to the informational clone posts
FYI- posted at 1am! I wish all my vendors would work this hard to ship and keep people updated! 950 shipped! They are getting there...

If you have browsed alibaba you run into claims all the time that they can produce 40k units in a month and it is all BS that they think makes them look like a big time operation that is efficient and trust worthy.
The business culture of Asia (especially China) is very foreign to western thinking.

it is silly to say one should blame the manufacturer and not the retailer. I didnt give money to Cloupor. I gave it Elev8. It is immaterial to the customer as to why goods and services paid for have not been rendered.
Furthermore, in a a free market economy I do not understand why anybody would defend a vendor (personal ties aside). I assure you, Arlind did not wake up one day and think, "it sure sucks that Dna30 box mods are so pricey and hard to get, so I am going to do something about it for the betterment of vapekind!" There is nothing altruistic about his business. He has probably made enough cash from presales to go buy an entry level Porsche. Who cares if he is trying to be polite and courteous and blah blah blah, for F sake! If I am giving you money it is the LEAST you could do! That is customer service 1 0 1!
Now I am not trying to bag on elev8 or anybody in particular (used them cuz that is who I am waiting for) but I am - like others - starting to question the what would appear to be either a lack of transparency or lack of efficacy (or both) most of these vendors have.
I had a little trouble getting this atty to fire on CNA30, then I learned the Gaia has an adjustable 510 center pin.

A couple of tidbits, the atty is 0.34 ohms so the chip sees it as 0.3 ohms and says it's firing it at 3.2 volts.
This is certainly not how I intend to use it (super sub), just an experiment, but it fired it and survived.
I have every intention of charging it's battery on-board.

DNA 30 Update [5/29/2014]
I know im just jumping in here but I have been following well lurking.
So i emailed elev8vape yesterday just asking about how long it would be and if I would get a shipping notice when it finally did ship. I know from this thread and everything else that black ones are 1st but I thought they were getting silver too?
I guess not because the answer was black will be shipping ALOT sooner than silver. I said screw it and just said if it's more than a week from now switch me to black if possible. I'm not stupid I know it's gonna be more than a week so I'm hoping if I switch to black I'll get one NOW!
I can always wrap it plus black isn't so bad. I just wonder how long people that didn't order black will be waiting.

Nice! Mines on the way. Should expect to see it after all the cnas go out lol, my fasttech vape mail is always a surprise. How is it? Flavor? Blowing clouds? Is the well as massive as I imagine? Lol
I have increased the two largest holes on the inside sleeve to match the outside holes, really deep well, I can drive 9 mi. to work without dripping if I don't get carried away. A really good buy, quality, ect. Flavor is about average for a big chamber, big clouds. I run it on a dual 18650 (8v) vv box mod @ 4 volts

So what and where is this USB dust cover that all the vendors says comes with it. Maybe a little rubber plug for the charging port?

Even more excited for it now! I've been thinking about canceling my black nimbus for the magma clone but I want at least one topper to match the new toy. I may get both if I can do it without the wife knowing. WAY over vape budget lately....
just cements my reasons even further for kicking dillvapes to the curb, when i asked for my refund i told them i couldn't take another delay or excuse, a delay just like this one. hate to say it but i knew that message about them getting the green light was just BS, another ploy to raise hopes and buy time. my guess is if hana modz is spiteful enough to sue them from the get go then there spiteful enough to keep them wrapped up in so much legal crap that they'll ship them by the end of june. delays, lack of updates, keeping secrets, no communication, rip trippers, getting sued, breaking promises and more delays... its like every move these guys make has been met with disastrous results... they really cant stop messing up can they?
Well, I ordered a orange from 101vapes. Got a letter last week stating I could get a black one immediately or wait for the orange. I decided to wait and this morning got a email from 101 saying they have shipped it. I would think if 101 is getting shipments then elev8vape is probably getting them too.
so i was going to just order one from wetvapes n keep my order with elev8 but now there sold out bahh shouldnt have waited anyone els have them in stock?
It seems like the optimal resistance to get a regulated vape is about 2.2 or 2.3 ohms. That puts you in 4-8v range across the entire 7-30watt spectrum. I did definitely notice a significant voltage drop when vaping with the ohms flashing on the screen at about 1/4 batt life left.

Keep checking their site. They were sold out over the weekend, then on Tuesday at about 11am, I checked and they were back up again. Seems they update per each shipment.
im going to call when they open because the title i guess you would say says pre-order but under it says in stock so we shall see thank you tho

No reason to rush, and besides, there's usually a V2 soon if there's any issues with the V1.
I've seen highly anticipated VV/VW devices hit and all the preorder people have common issues.
China seems to be doing much better these days, but still... it's China.
