Man I feel for all the people who ordered from Illvapes, as well as Illvapes themselves. I really hope that in the end, all those customers will be at least somewhat satisfied. I don't know if ill will be able to recover from this law suit. I have no dealings with them, as I ordered from 101 and then later from Wetvapes. So I'm kinda just a watcher to this whole fiasco. I take it that Illvapes biggest error was offering the logo version, at a significantly higher price just for the logo being printed on the mod. It really just sucks that their error is affecting the customer. Illvapes is a business. Businesses come and go everyday. Typically when a business goes under, their not dragging thousands of customers with them. This situation really sucks for all involved. IMO, Ill either owes these customers their money or a mod. On another note. HANA is justified on protecting their logo. We all know that HANA did not invent the box mod, actually they stole this idea from someone else. They did not create the chip contained within. Again this is someone else's idea. I really hope that hana modz will crash and burn. We all know that the price they are charging is way out of proportion. I mean really, if your gonna charge 250$ for something that costs less than 70-80 bucks to produce then it needs to be perfect in every way. Perfection is not the case with all HANA mods. With all that profit they are making, one would think they had room to grow and meet the demand.

Even though I ordered a black clone I'm thinking about engraving it with the Lombardi trophy and Seahawks logo to commemorate the SuperBowl win, or maybe ordering another one in blue, or maybe silver and doing a paint inlay in the engraved sections.
Last night I pulled the battery out at 25%. I put a fully charged one in and compared vapes. I know its not the best way to test to see if it really does drop off in performance as Rip said. I didn't notice any difference.
Paint inlay would look nice. Prolly look awesome with the black with silver cutout left bare to.
Plenty of Blame to go around.......This is likely to not be a very popular view...
All of the people that bought the Logo'ed version that are complaining about the fiasco and blaming Illvapes and the manufacturer... Look inward. You supported it by buying it in the first place.
If sales were 0 then do you really think Illvapes would have ordered any and be in the position they are now.? It cost MORE to purchase the logo version and people were paying MORE for the logo. Who is ALSO to blame for the fiasco??? That's right. Just like everything else it takes two.
Think of all the illegal things that happen hourly in our country... The law does not break itself. And just because Illvapes made the bad decision, it should not make them the end of the line on the blame train.
Lastly.. I only write this to those who are openly accusing. I consider Illvapes for my original purchase but..
1. Did not want a logo
2. Not willing to pay a premium for something I do not want.
3. Do not typically trust people with funny names AND wearing crooked hats. (judgmental behavior is my daemon to tame)
4. Do not mind waiting a little extra. (I need to learn more patience)

Adding my opinion on who is at fault.... I feel sorry for illvapes too and Curlyx... made some good points....
My opinion is that this whole thing could have been avoided and I place the blame solely on China.... They built and advertised the clone to take advantage of an American companies success. They specifically made it as close to an exact copy as they could (and are copying other popular American mods as clones as I type). Vendors here not being knowlegable enough about Trademark issues decided to pre-order and also take advantage of the Hana's popularity and lack of being able to meet demand and offered a clone at a fraction of the cost. This placed the vendors in the position whereby US laws apply to them while China sets back and rakes in the dollars. Since all this happened China is revisiting its clone by removing the hana logo, removing the hologram stickers, and etc. And Hana was put in a position I'm sure they did not like or want to be in. This caused them to have to make a business decision. Hana has legal rights also which they chose to exercise.
Bottom line opinion from me is that China is to blame and as long as we allow it to happend it will continue...Clones also can put American companies like Hana out of business. China's economy is built around cheap labor, sweat shops, and etc. Our economy is not. "Cheap" costs American's jobs IMO. I'm not defending the vendors or Hana as both were put in a position neither IMO wanted to be in and I lay the blame squarely on China....
And that's my 2-cents to add to all the other opinions....he-he.... my opinion and 2 bucks will buy a cup of coffee just like others opinion will

I'm really contemplating a dual 26650 SX350 mod once they get the firmware pushed for the up/down buttons instead of the 'tilt-a-whirl' adjustments. I'm sure it's going to happen. The new Ifinite clone of the 26650 Congestus has an expansion tube for stacked 26650's, and with the new 26650 SX based tubes coming out its bound to happen, though a think a dual 26650 box mod would be more portable the a dual 26650 tube, Unless they made it look like a lightsaber.

Ordered an orange one on the 28th.....awaiting shipment as of now. No hurry on my part.....ordered more out of curiosity than anything else.....have and have had several regulated mods first "clone" I've orderd though not much genius or talent for design goes into throwing a DNA chip in a metal box enclosure with a logo and charging an outrageous price for it unlike truly cloned mods IMO.

Their order was already placed, so yes they still would have ordered those units prior to even posting them on their site. As far as interest in them, the logo units were originally rumored to come with a lipo, therefore increasing their value, to some. I'm certain a few people, saw dollar signs when they purchased the counterfeit... I've expressed my feelings prior on the subject of my opinion of how it could have been handled, even though Hana had the right to do what they did....
