I know elev8 stated they were going to change all there orders to awating shipment. My order #3148 orange states awaiting shipment. And my order #1474 red states awaiting fulfillment. I'm sure they just haven't updated it yet.

I bet its a madhouse at elev8 land. But I'm sure the owner is walking around with dollar signs in his eyes. So far it looks like they are getting it done. I wonder how long this buying extravaganza is going to last.
apparently they just changed the status on new orders. this is the message they sent me back (i'm 2410 silver):DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, THE WHOLE AWAITING SHIPMENT THING DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING FOR YOU. YOU WILL STILL HOLD YOUR PLACE IN LINE

Top cover - as in where the attay sits? That is part of the milled box and it is flush on all four sides. I think you mean the back cover that is removed to replace the battery. When you put the cover on it can be shifted slightly before fastening down and moved to be flush to the bottom and sides while the top joint is tight.

Yes top of the back cover. I have tried shifting it. Still is the same. It is ever so slight. So, I don't really notice it. Just wondered how everyone else's were.

batteries - "Fear", "paranoid", "anxiety", "There should be a battery safety quiz" (maybe the poster should go work for the Obama administration ), "fear of something that could possibly become dangerous" (Wow are you working for the FDA? :D)- are all things stated in this thread and are simply way overstated.

Every day we get up and immediately face potential dangerous situations - Slipping and falling in a bath, shower, tile floor; potential electrical shook for electric devices, crossing the street, falling off a step stool, etc. - nothing is 100% safe.

Now having a concern, learning the risk involved and how to remove most of the risk are very warranted!

Batteries have their own risk, and putting them into metal enclosures brings a whole nother level to the risk. Li-ion batteries of all kinds become relatively safe to use when following the precautions and using as designed.

Li-ion has improved and the failure rate has been reduced to one-in-10 million according to the Battery University. But that does not remove all of the risk!!!! So learn more and respect the risk - if you fear the dangers or are parnoid of use - maybe using these things are not for you!

To bring this back to the CNA 30 -

Most places I've seen that recommend the Sony VTC4 and 5s for the clone, at the price of those batteries just get one or two and use these in the clone. Buy and use a decent intelligent battery charger for these - a Nitecore, XTAR, or EFest are common. Leaving a battery on one of these chargers while unattended leaves the safety of you and your location in the hands of those that designed and built the charger and battery - is that what you trust? If not remove the battery form the charger when you are not present and properly store it.

BTW - The Clone DNA 30 chips has quite a few safeguards built-in as well as the case being vented - all in attempt to provide a person a safer device to use. Maybe someone could restate those so my outlandinsh post does any get longer.:)

I agree with you in that batteries and devices have gotten safer over the years but to tell other members safety is not a concern or irrelevant while handling /using these batteries is a complete mistake. Breathing the air in our environment isn't 100% either, nothing is 100%. Remember "hill billy vapor"? No safety features on that sample he decided to super subohm on... There are people getting into vaping that don't know basic safety like you or I and to be told" it's not to be concerned with" is not OK regardless of how safe a battery or device is.. When I walk into a place of business and see a guy mopping, I can still sue if I slip and there's not a wet floor sign... They can also be simple electronical devices, ex. A mech, so is an electric fence, doesn't make it safe... I've stated before, not everyone will see battery failure, doesn't mean it doesn't happen. More people were bothered Rip reviewed a sample unit... /rant

Those are milling machine marks from the end mill that was used to remove the metal. Considering you paid 1/4 - 1/3 the price of a Hanna Modz, the marks in that area quite often will be covered by a thumb or finger when the device is in use, are actually fairly small in relation to the size of the case, and the item is not a show piece that hundreds will look at - your reactions seem to way overboard.

Of course at the price these are going for on eBay you probably could recover the price you paid even noting the major catastrophe of a mark that is there.

As for the flashing ohms at 13.5 watts, I think you meant to say that the ohms flash once you get under 13.5 watts. If you want to vape at less than 4 volts with 1.2 ohms, yes you will need to use a higher ohm build. On my Kayfuns I've been fairly happy with a 1.6 ohm micro coils with cotton wick build at 10.4 watts.

NO the ohms flash once I get OVER 13.5w, I said it the proper way.

Also I have bought plenty of cloned mechanical mods from fasttech.(over 30 of them) with no dents or swirl marks.
All I'm saying is if I am going to pay $80 for a device cloned or not it should be machined to my liking. Its a matter of personal preference.
Maybe you don't mind scratches or dents on your devices, but I do. So I don't think my reactions are not way overboard, its my opinion.

They used to have on WET not sure if it still works. regardless u can't beat the price and free shipping and he does priority 2 day

When ordered my Hana from Raj of Wetvapes, he applied the coupon code "DNA" which took 5 dollars or so off my order. Came out to $77.98. Ordered on Thursday. Came yesterday. Much to my gf's dismay, I'm in LOVE with my Hana... lol

P.S. Nice to meet you all! Lurked this forum for a month or so, recently registered. First month since dabbing into rebuilding. :)

That shouldn't happen unless you have a 5ohm coil or something....

I've tried most of my stuff on my cana now. All has fired great. I've used all types of builds and attys. Forge @ 1.7, Trident @ 1.4, kayfun lite + v2 @ 1.4, Omega @ 1.1, and Stillare @ .6. All fire great. I have had the silver from Wetvapes now for 3 days. I have no complaints about it thus far. My mod has the little swirl marks at the fire button as well, however, this is a non issue for me. Mines already got a little road rash from the drive way. I may use this silver as my go to beater, and try to keep the green, still on order, in good shape.
