I thought that too.

You just haven't let it "sleep" long enough yet. It doesn't happen every time the light goes out, but only after it's been "sleeping" for a certain amount of time.

Hmmm... Are you sure? I have had the delay even a minute after the display goes out. It can sit all day and when I fire it most of the time it fires right up.

Yeah seems random to me... Sometimes it fires first press, sometimes it requires two even right after screen goes off... If you have been paying attention to this thread, I wasn't getting this issue when I first received it, fired first press every time.
I'm Thinking it's a button issue. I've noticed on occasion after the screen lights up on its own 3-4 presses will lock the fire button, definitely less than the normal 5x.

Hey guys, I am new to the Forums although I have been lurking around the "Attack of the Clones" for about a month now and have read it almost completely, this is basically my 4th of 5th Post ever but I figured I would share with all of you my CNA/DNA 30 Journey. If you look at the picture you will see several "Replicas" and one Genuine DNA 30 (Vapor Shark). I have been up and down and all around with all these devices 2 are from Hotcig and the last one (blue) is a Cloupor unit. Any questions.....Fire away....after a month of playing with these I have seen it all.

So what do you think ?? Are there any differences between VS DNA, Cloupor and HotCig DNA. Which one performs the best? Any differences at all ? Other than what you have all ready stated.

Something else that I have tried and it work (sometimes). When it has been idle for a while I hit the fire button and take a primer puff and it fires without having to hit the fire button again..........it works some of the time, on either of my Replicas from Hotcig or Cloupor...

Hana Modz Clone DNA 30 Chip "No Logo" **PRE ORDER**

Sweet! Just found this email. I was surprised because last I had heard they had only gotten 4 red in on the 30th and unless this is part of it they must have gotten more. I am so happy it's coming now. I am glad I held out for my red. The red's and blue's look to be my favorites of these clones imo. Just seem to be nicer looking. Hopefully mine is nice. I had just received a nice 12" X 32" roll of nice clear carbon fiber vinyl wrap today. I am working on wraping my sx350 blue box mod I made with clear for the blue part and they included a sample piece of black and white in the package. I am going to do the blue main body of it that is painted blue with clear and black for my white bapgoods shapeways bezel on the door. It should look sweet. Going afk to do that right now.

Anyone else get a red yet or on the way from vaportek or any other of the color's that have been rare?

I just did an experiment with mine. I let it sit for an hour after about 15 minutes of chain vaping. Hit the fire button lightly and it needed a second press to fire. I again let it sit for another solid hour after 15 minutes of chain vaping. I then pressed the button VERY firmly and it fired on first press! Seems like it could be a safety thing?

There are several differences, first one and most evident is the body(box) the ones from Hotcig are the original H.....a V1 box with the Slit all the way across the top (to be honest with you the box of the Hotcig feel A LOT more sturdy than the box from Cloupor, not to mention that the back cover on the Hotcig fits PERFECT).

The Chip on the Hotcigs is different than on the Cloupor, although the Hotcig Chip goes up to 32W, it does not function as well....it misreads the ohms by as much as .2 or .3 and it will fire with Voltage below 4.0 without a flashing warning.

The Chip on the Cloupor functions much much better and closer to the DNA 30 on my Vapor Shark, although there is usually a difference in ohms of about .1 is not a big deal and the Voltage works the same as the Vapor Shark (it flashes when it needs to).

The only HUGE advantage to the Hotcig boxes is the have a Wonderful adjustable pin on the 510 connector......

"I think that's about it"

Oh almost forgot all the Attys I have tried on all three fire without a problem, Kayfuns 3.1 and lite, protanks, Nimbus RDA, Patriot RDA, Aspire Nautilus and Innokin Iclear 30 and X1

What battery are you using I have herd that the sleep timer doesn't like the vtc5 not to sure if that has anything to do with it but maybe it takes the bord a sec longer to get a full read out of the vtc5 and makes you wait was told that problem don't happen with the vtc4

Speaking about the 510 connector. I have been thinking about it and I think I am going to see if the hole is the right size for the adjustable fatdaddyvapes 510 connector because I have a few extra and while I would love the floating one from FDV I don't think it would look right in the well of the cna30. I think the smaller adjustable one might just work and I might just replace it with that but I am not till I have it in hand if that's even worth it. But it could always be an option. Plus I have already got one of them filed down to sit flush with a box. Just would have to use my countersink on the box. Would look pretty spiffy imo.

It sounds like the routine for "wake from sleep" is sloppily written. Perhaps (though I'm not even at the stage of hoping) they'll have periodic updates. They had to reflash all of the chips for one fix already (the Ω reading problem), so I know it's possible.

I am actually going to be getting another and it will be a Cloupor, I think they look and function a little better.....I am going to put new Chips in the Hotcigs though, the boxes are nice.....:vapor:
