Mine has started to do the delay thing a little. Still not a big deal.

I am still experimenting. I think it has to do with the amount of vapes you take before letting it go to sleep. Just a thought.

I'm still thinking it's something to do with the cheap buttons used... Although I'd assume the wattage up button would also be affected...

Edit: I'm noticing more people are saying it's starting to happen after its used a while... Mine fired directly when I first got it.

@Retird ,you around what did you say was happening with a faulty button in a build of yours? I'm to lazy to go back through all these pages

My dna 20 mod gives me a "check battery" or a "weak battery" or sometimes both when trying to fire from sleep... Sometimes it fires right up. I can't pinpoint what causes that either. Might just be a similar glitch with the chip.

That is part of the dna20 chip. Might still be the cause since the splash screen on fire was evolvs fix on dna30...

I think people are noticing it more after use. I believe all of thes chips are doing the same thing. the tric is finding out what triggers it. By the way, I have never seen mine wake by itself.

Update for hotcig clone.. If you're getting it for the adjustable 510 don't. .. The pin is setup terrible.. basically it's like a post on your rda.. The positive wire goes in on the side and there's a Phillips screw that tightens it down.. When you adjust the 510 connection the positive wire twists with it.. horrible design

Pos wire goes in that hole and the screw holds it in place..

Then it screws into this plastic insulator..(I had to epoxy this insulator because it's unscrewing with the 510.. I'm going to solder the pos wire to the 510 as well.. just overall I'm much happier with cloudpors manufacturing

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk

Thanks for the insight......I have the same unit and was not aware....I was actually singing the praises of the 510 connector, is the one thing I liked the most about this unit...... wow.

I finally got a chance to play with mine. So far I love it. I'm running my kayfun clone at .8 ohms at 20 watts.

I haven't experienced the two clicks to fire some you have mentioned.

One little thing though. Mt battery door doesn't match! Not a big deal though.

Not in the picture but even the paper with the instructions is green. Lol. Thought that was pretty funny.

My red clone from Elev8 was waiting in my mailbox for me when I got home from work today (order #400). I must say, my first impressions are very good. I think I actually prefer the finish to the legit red V3 I had. It's not nearly the fingerprint magnet that the original was. 510 seems to be straight, and no issues firing from it being asleep. Best $80 I've spent on vaping gear, as of now, and worth the wait.

even though they say there is no room for sympathy in business and although ive personally been negatively affected by illvapes, i cant help but feel bad for them after that email. "just because you can do something doesn't mean you should", words ive lived by my entire life and has made me a slightly less obnoxious person because of it, hana modz should have embraced this saying, instead they have successfully succeeded in destroying a small vape shop and online vendor. sueing them and doing it so publicly was a double edge sword that hana modz may have not realized and may sill not have, the vape community is huge but a tightly woven one... what sets us apart from other vice industries is that we help one another grow and learn for the better of the vape scene, we dont sue each other and destroy small businesses without first considering the alternatives, because lets be honest.. there were A LOT of alternatives. what hana modz did was emotional and was wrong... everyone see's this. a company like hana modz can come and go and no one will miss it, but its when you start shutting down the vendors and B&M's is when your truly affecting the scene.

on another note:
most of us started vaping out of necessity, a way to quit this disgusting habit that has loomed over our heads for the better part of our lives. but then it slowly became more apart of us and turned into a lifestyle, a habit we wanted to accept. i read all these comments on this thread sometimes getting out of hand, im not mad at it and im not afraid of it... all i see is passion for something that makes you happy. now can anyone ever remember being this passionate about cigarettes? it doesn't happen...

wow nice,i agree.hana will get its just rewards, and I don't think they'll be good either.

Got my clone from illvapes today. What was funny is that the return address on the envelope was listed as "John Smith".
It works as advertised. I've only used it for about an hour with my kfl+, 510 is ever so slightly crooked but no big deal. I've also had to double click to fire out of sleep mode except for once, so I guess its just quirky.
