Canceled my order from elev8, going to order a sx350 chip and make my own mod. To many people with issues for me to buy something for $70+, have it breaking and can't get another for a long time. I'll stick to mech mods until then. hana modz clones are so nice looking, it's a shame the problems the current release is having.

Just got my Red with logo. Blue w/o logo still a few weeks away.
First impressions: beautiful, solid box definitely anodized aluminum. No imperfections except for minor swirl mark around fire button. Bright display, appears as accurate as my VTR, SVR, and Provari with readings. 510 is straight. Neatly assembled inside. Screws are fine. Nice clicky buttons. Have the "two click" deal, but it appears to be the normal function I've seen on reviews- When it goes to sleep, click once, wait a second or two for the display, click again and it fires every time. I believe that is normal operation.

Otherwise, hits like a train, significantly smaller and lighter then my VTR, a real pleasure to use.

Time will tell!

While I fully support building your own device, in the grand scheme of things, so far from what I've seen/read the failure rate of this Chinese clone is still less than the xbox 360 at release. And I still purchased 4 of them. I know apples to watermelon. Lol

The fact that the picture on Fasttech's own website shows a visible manufacturing defect on the top-right corner of the box does not inspire confidence either.

What is this defect that you speak of?

Btw... can the logos be scratched off or removed? Or is it like IN the casing material? The logo doesn't really bother me personally but I wouldn't mind if it wasn't there either.

There are probably well over a thousand contributors and lurkers with this clone already (probably a very conservative #) on this forum. The folks with issues are much more likely to post their problems then people with their clones working fine. The defective rate is likely as expected with something like this, meaning not a very high percentage. I'm sure the vast majority are happy with their purchase and with no regrets.

I have to agree with the contention that folks with issues will post sooner than those without... To address the failure rate, I have been a computer professional for 25 years and in my experience the avg. failure rate for electronic components is closer to 10% 1 in 10 NOT 1 in 30? Unless, of course this is your first foray into electronics manufacture in which case it could be nearly 100%. My guess would be (and it's just a guess) that if Cloupor is more of a machine shop/assembly business that these chips came from a 3rd party that does electronics... hand soldering is one thing but flow soldering is a completely different animal all together...

Cloupor did not make these chips. I read a rumor that Foxconn has made them but that idk. Cloupor assembled the units but most certainly did not manufacturer them in house...
Btw xbox 360 had a 33% failure rate at launch.

Just got mine. Been playing with for a bit. It definitely doesnt hit as hard as a true dna when set at the same wattage using the same atty, but for 70 dollars, i couldnt be happier. Im at 18 on my vapor shark, 20 on cana - problem solved lol. I just hope it lasts more than 10 days.

How much was your vapor shark if you don't mind me asking? And where did you get purchase it from?

I'm a little late with getting my green light pic posted, had to charge the Efest 3100 mah 20 amp battery and being 3100 mah it takes awhile.
Note viewing angle.

I guess I just got two bum clones with the green light not working. The first one I got from wet vapes never had the green light come on. Then it shorted out. Now the new one I got today still doesnt have the green light. What a joke.

Just a thought...have you taken off the back cover and charged it with the cover off and still not seen a green light?

Right from the Mfg I would expect. I got mine when ordered in a matter of days . SOLID device.Well built. Just lacks battery life. Kinda regret I sold mine.

Hmmm..I'll have to do that now! Thanks for the idea. It's been charging for about 5 hours now (VTC5), battery indicator is full, and yet the red* light is still on. Anyone have any idea how long the point is from when the battery icon is full, to when the green light comes on??

Here's what I just was telling my teenage son so I made it simple, he was about to charge his phone and his mom's Cana didn't get on charge last night.
If you have a 1500 mah battery on a 500 mah charger it will be about 3 hours to charge if the battery is all the way down. It will be 5 - 6 hours for my wife's Cana with 3100 mah

You won't see "green" from the back with the red cover on, it will look like a dim red. It does take a bit after its full. Not immediate by any means. What's your power source?

The big dent in the corner. It's visible in every picture except the back.
