Ok here is another quirk that has me a little concerned. My black from illvapes continues to fire 1 second sometimes 2 after the fire button is released. It doesnt do it all the time but it does happen often especially with longer pulls
Is it truly firing? Or could it just be that the wick is cooling down and it takes a second or two to cool down to a temperature low enough not to vaporize the e-liquid? Especially since you say it happens more when you take a longer pull which is when you'd have the hottest coil.

just like bs said. if the display dims when you release the button, then it has stopped sending current.

Hi Mega, I can take a picture later tonight and post it, but yes can definitely tell you, there is NO glue on the buttons or the 510 connector, the 510 connector is I think is called "pressed" (sorry not sure of the term) as are the buttons. Here is a couple of pictures that I have and maybe those will help.

My clone's wattage keeps changing.. And when i say changing, i dont mean, wattage changes after waking it up from sleep mode. It's almost like the plus and minus keeps getting pressed non stop cuz it keeps going from 18.7 to 18.8 and back. And whenever i press the plus or minus, it goes to 7 watts. Cant put it in stealth mode, nor lock the wattage settings. It still fires, though.

Would like to put a 510 to ego adapter on my clone , just to see how it works
With some of my old clears. Any suggestions on where I can get a good one that
Won't short out my board?

The best ones, by far, are from Provape. And there IS a difference. It took me too long to believe that, but now I do.

I don't understand why I keep seeing posts that this device won't regulate voltage below 4.0v when it seems to on mine. It appears to only regulate to 4.0v when the battery is at or above 4.0v, but if the battery is below 4.0v it regulates to any setting above battery voltage. For example, my battery is at 3.62v and I have a coil resistance of 1.53 and have it set to 10w power output. It fires at 3.92v and continues to fire at that voltage as the battery drains further. If I lower the wattage, it will regulate the voltage output down (and appears to be accurate) until it reaches the current battery level or goes below battery level. If I lower wattage to a point that the voltage is below current battery voltage it will fire at current battery voltage. So, at least on mine it seems to be regulating above battery voltage when the battery drops below 4.0v?

Seems like the regulation programming is it will fire 4.0v or higher when the source voltage is above 4.0v OR will regulate to any voltage above source voltage when the source voltage is below 4.0v. BTW, the ohm reading will still flash when the regulated voltage is below 4.0v, but that just seems to be a hard coded number that tells the display to flash at anything below 4.0v and doesn't really affect the devices ability to regulate under these conditions.

I don't have a Hana V3 to see if this behavior is the same. Could someone with a Hana see if this acts the same on the original?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've checked this many times over the past few days with different batteries at different discharge levels and this behavior is consistent and repeatable. I'm using an inline volt meter, maybe not the most accurate, but it matches very closely with measured battery voltage on a Fluke meter. If this is true this is a huge difference for me since I prefer builds around 1.5ohms and around 10 watts.

I would appreciate if others would check this on their clone also and let me know if this is true.

@JAZZMAN
That is odd, I just checked this on my cna30 and with a battery that has 3.6 volts it was still flashing the oHm's till I got the voltage up to 4.0 volts. However I don't have a real dna30 to test this on but the other day I was watching a review on the vapor shark and the reviewer had the device set to 12 watts with 1.0 oHm's of resistance and the device was showing 3.5 volts without the oHm's flashing, his battery life was at about half.

here is a link to the video and go to the 4:45 mark to see what i'm talking about
