these cana 510 connectors are attached really weak. both of mine are starting to loosen up and I've been really careful. stopped by houseofvapor and picked up two dna30 chips and two modders 510 connectors that are splined and have a short threaded shaft (w/ nut).

i am thinking i can keep the original usb charger board, any thoughts?

Now on to other things... If anyone is interested, Jwraps does indeed have a wrap listed for these. Choose the Hana V3 Clone option. It fits perfectly. The only cutting I had to do was for the bottom wrap piece. It covers the entire bottom including the part made up by the battery cover plate. Quick slide with a razor fixed that.

Anyone have the CATs atty yet? Im thinking of getting one for this pimarily because there is virtually no leakage. On the other hand the outer barrel is brass, and I would be worried about juice getting in between the inner/outer parts, touching the brass, then making its way back into the chamber.

always black medium roast. I drink coffee all day every day. I even drink tomorrow's coffee today. Ahahaha.
The reason I ask is because I'm wondering if you find that taking a sip of black coffee just prior to having a vape give you a a slightly different taste. for me it seems to make any flavor I vape taste a little bit different, but in a good way. It's hard to explain and im sure it has something to do with the taste buds being pre-stimulated.

Mine will be getting new DNA, Charging board, 510 connector, switches, and thinking about modifying the display slot of the enclosure to include a display screen housing to hold the display.....(similar to this... 3mm W-Stop DNA Screen Housing by bapgood on Shapeways )

Yep coffee changes the vape a bit.... I used to drink a couple pots per day but now just 2 cups in the morning and an occasional cup during the day.....I just make a fresh pot every other day....fresh coffee one day and day-old the next....

they say huffing coffee grounds clears your olfactory senses. (resets them... per se) one of my local vape shops has a glass with beans in it, but this seems different... more relates to the sense of taste than smell when drinking it. try it out if you haven't yet... thats assuming you can stand black coffee.

Ok got it, your oHm's are still flashing but inline volt meter is showing still regulated, interesting....

The CNA30s I have do not regulate under 4.0 volts except for some rare settings which I had not been able to duplicate. The Vapor Shark DNA30 will regulate to some extent under 4v which can be a benefit.

My vaporshark arrived today, so the clone has taken a backseat while I play with the new(and impossibly small) shiny thing. After vaping them both today the only thing I keep thinking is that someone needs to make a case for the Hana/clones like the vaporshark sharkskin. Forget wraps, this thing is far superior! Anyone heard of anything?

2nd day with it and actually have a dripper to test it with!
this thing HAULS i mean (being my first regulated mod) .8 single coil hits like my old .4 dual and tastes just as good to boot.
quite pleased with this mod so far, the two click wake is an inconvenience but easily to get past.
only real problem is that it drains my batteries so fast! going to have to buy more batteries!!

"Half charge" is kinda meaningless unless you know what half charge is on your device. You would need to take your battery out and put it on a meter. I would guesstimate half charge is around 3.7 volts. The voltage needed to drive a 1.0 ohm coil at 12 Watts is only 3.4 though. So given that information, it's flashing because it's sending 3.7 volts to your atomizer not 3.4, as these mods, and the dna 30's as well, cannot step the voltage down.

I currently have exactly the same resistance build on my Fogger v4 right now and find my device readings about the same as your DNA30 readings.....interesting. I'm showing 4.0 volts at 17 watts @ .98 ohms (occasionally switches itself to .99) Battery fresh off charger. Sony VT5.
