always black medium roast. I drink coffee all day every day. I even drink tomorrow's coffee today. Ahahaha. The reason I ask is because I'm wondering if you find that taking a sip of black coffee just prior to having a vape give you a a slightly different taste. for me it seems to make any flavor I vape taste a little bit different, but in a good way. It's hard to explain and im sure it has something to do with the taste buds being pre-stimulated.

Coffee is my life blood - don't think I've ever drank tomorrow's coffee today though. I wouldn't know what to do tomorrow. LOL
I think coffee and even more so the smell of coffee beans kind of resets your smell and taste pallet.

I have been drinking quite a bit of horchata lately and it seems to have a similar effect.

.....I just make a fresh pot every other day....fresh coffee one day and day-old the next....
Ugggh. I did that for decades in the Navy - sometimes the old coffee would taste like saw dust. Ugggh

Thanks for letting me know that about the Vapor Shark, I have been looking in to getting one of them but just a bit out of my price range at the moment. Even though the cna30 is a bit on the small side, I was looking for something a little more pocket friendly, like the Vapor Shark, I almost bought this, HCigar DNA20 Mini Pack V2 Box Mod Clone but then thought I'll just save up for something with a real dna30 in it.

:) Sometimes.....Black......... Sometimes...... English Toffee........... Sometimes Mocha...... :)

and you???

hi retird,

1st off, thanks for all the testing that you did. is there any chance you could blog that? i'm poor, so i like the clone. it's my 1st dc mod. that and the fact that i can increase wattage @.1 instead of .5 are the reasons i like them. i have 1 blue one from 101vape and i pre-ordered one from elev8. heck, i may order 2 more. BUT i won't be recommending that anyone buy one. i'd like to be able to show them your work.

if they ever fix the chip and put a better 510 connection, i probably would recommend them.

.98 build, CNA 30 w/battery at 3.85 volts, VaporShark DNA 30 w/fully charged battery

XX Watts - CNA30 - DNA30
12 watts - 3.77 - 3.67
14 watts - 3.77 - 3.67
16 watts - 3.77 - 3.91
17 watts - 3.77 - 3.99
18 watts - 3.77 - 4.14
19 watts - 3.89
20 watts - 4.00

Seems about right, I did the same this morning compared to a Hana DNA 30 using a 0.8 ohm coil and got the exact same numbers on the CNA30 as yours. The Hana numbers I got were off from yours by .01 to .03 depending on watt setting. However, again, has nothing to do with Jazz's problem. But nice information to know.

Finally, after a long wait, around 1.5months my clone came in
hady2esu.jpg

The internals wiring are of better build with the looks of authentic ones
yvanupu7.jpg

Reading of ohm is acute to 0.1 or equal compare to the other clone

batyre4e.jpg

And the tank sit flush to the body
a6ezyqe7.jpg

And it has one click to vape compare to my other clone. The clicking on the fire button feel more nice to press

Definitely worth the wait!

Morning coffee (English Toffee) and a vape........

Sambuca, their are two things I never do.... blog or text.... but any information you find worth repeating by anybody in this thread could be copied and pasted to the blog of your choice...money doesn't grow on trees for me either and the first high dollar mod I got was the Darwin. I set up a vape budget and any excess not spent was saved so when the Darwin hit I had enough saved up to grab it... Three years later it is still working like new.... best purchase ever made....

You all have a great day... gotta read the newspaper.....

i finally get my ssdi next month, God willing. i plan on getting an e-vic supreme. i went from egos to itaste v3 to mbv2s. i think box mods are fugly, but like that they stand on their own. if i could have found something cheaper that allows .1 wattage increments and replaceable batteries, i'd have tried that. even if these were only 20, that would have been fine as i mainly use nautiluses. i may finally buy a battery charger and then get a few sigelei 20w. i'd have to find a mod stand cuz nautiluses don't take to lying down.

i plan on moving to new mexico in the fall. once i'm settled, i'll probably start looking at rbas and rdas. i use to make coils, but i wasn't even gonna try that with double coil heads. at the least, the coupors can serve as tank stands (that i can vape with).

another reason i like the cloupors are the colors. i use colors to identify my juices.

i imagine that very soon we have similar priced box mods with improved chips, better 510s and they'll be close to the same price. if that doesn't happen before the dust settles and all pre-ordered clones are delivered, them i'll just get the colors i don't have. mainly to keep from getting 5 e-vics, or so. if i could find a decent, cheap stand, i might get multiples on the sigelei 20ws. just don't want a bunch of tubes rolling around. that was why i went the itaste v3 route.

when i have a chance, i'll blog some of your posts. most of what i hear about these clones is that they are fine or they'll blow up. the truth is in the middle somewhere. rational discussions are better than extreme claims.

who knows, maybe i'll learn how to upgrade these myself, eventually.

again, thanks for all the work you have put into evaluating these mods!

(i never texted either, but found my sons would return texts quicker than they would calls. you know, when they would return anything!)

lol.... understand the kids thing and texting.... and I too use colors to identify my juices.... I put a small colored sticky dot on my tanks and the same colored sticky dot on the juice bottle.... an assorted pack of colored sticky dots cost about a buck or two per package at wally world....

Actually i expect box mods with the DNA chips to become less expensive as new chips are released and more reliable as well.

Just saw this...... more watts does not equal better vape..... this one is "scary".......40 amp output max....200 watts

http://.........blogspot.com/2014/06/more-power-say-hello-to-200-watt-beast.html

IIRC it's using a GE NAOS Raptor 40Amp dc power module. And this won't be the last. Using the 60A version of the chip you can hit 300 watts...... It's getting crazy

Yep... kinda crazy... and noticed this disclaimer...... "Additional warning: this box is very powerful and if your cotton/wicking material is not wet, it may catch fire. Please make sure your cotton/wicking material is sufficiently saturated is wet; only build above .125 ohms to avoid damage to your regulator; make sure and put your batteries in the correct way!"
