Buying a premade box almost seems like it takes the fun out of it.

I have a box of broken guitar DC pedals that I held on to for some reason well I think I know now.

The clone boxes on FT are what I've been after since the beginning - and they're cheaper than the original group buys too.
If you get an original Evolv chip plus real C&K tactiles and what you end up with is as good as a real Hana, for less than $70.

Little birdie qued me into those yesterday- exactly what I've been looking for; I can't cut a straight line if my life depended on it. But I can damn sure assemble and solder the guts with my eyes closed.
Go figure.

Toronto, Canada,
Any one jumping in on the pre-order's of the Cloupor T5 50 watt? They claim the stress will not be half as bad as the dna 30 clones were and this device is much better.
I will tell you this right now (I'm not)... lol

Time to sit back and see, so many things hitting the market now.

But, but, but the Chinese only steal other peoples stuff and never innovate though? Right? RIGHT?

Sorry couldn't resist, looks weird, but interesting.:vapor:

it came in the mail today Fast-Tech Hana mod clone. Here are pics. The packaging box it came in was crappy, but so far the device itself looks alright. The 510 connector looks ok. One thing, I'm not a big fan of the fire button, I don't have the original to compare to, so I don't have any point of reference to compare how "clicky" the button is... It seems like it is too small and I miss it too often...

I received my DNA 20 Hana clone from Fasttech, but some of the hot glue melted onto the DNA 20 (ish) chip and now I'm awaiting a replacement from them. Needless to say I'll trim all excess hot glue and replace what I can with good epoxy next time. Since its gonna be another 2-3 week until I receive the replacement from FT, I ordered a Cloupour DNA 30 "Cana Modz" unit that'll be here Wednesday. Hope its good -- its part of the 2nd generation with a supposedly improved 510 connection pin. I'm still going to have to clean up the electronics and make sure this next one isn't sloppy (knowing my luck)

I have a sigelei 30w already, personally if I have a problem with this fast-tech dna30 I'll just wait for the next big thing. There's already more powerful better products on the horizon.

You can see the burnt bits on the DNA chip :( I didn't put the battery incorrectly and nothing leaked onto the chip, but being without a regulated mech like this hana clone makes me sad. The 3 hours it worked correctly were amazing! With a Kayfun I was reaching Nirvana at .7 ohms LOL. When it started smoking and stopped firing I almost started to cry

...? Why is there superglue in the mod? I looked at the back of my mod, because I was wondering... and I found copious amounts of some sticky substance. I dont think it's superglue, but what is it doing in the back of the mod. Anyone have the real hana, does it have this crap in the back? Where am I supposed to trim it?

Plenty of pics. Also I found out the included battery is purple efest "35a" and a big fat hotcig sticker. I guess that does lead credence to people saying that hotcig manufactures these:

Yep! I got that sucker as soon as I could and I am LOVING the heck out of my Sigelei 30 watt mod,,, I no longer own any of the Hana Clone's and have moved on from the Hot Glue mess and the chip in the Sigelei ROCKS! I also got the 26650 extention tube and the IMR 60A 3600mah battery :)
Adjustable bottom battery cap (NO spring) Adjustable 510, No logo and Rose colored copper.

Does anyone have the backshot of the cloupor or real hana for comparison? Im really curious now...

Original Hana (1st release, early-to-mid 2013).

And before anyone asks, it's a removable sealant to keep juice from getting into the circuitry, in the event of an accident. It's removable for servicing, if required. None required yet, but I expect there will come a day.

Does anyone know if the Cloupour's ohm reader is accurate compared to the FT version? I've been using my old MVP for an ohm reader and would like to give it to a family member who would use it for more than something to build coils on.

iirc, it off .1 ohm at low wattage and up to .2ohm at higher. i don't care, i likes them...alot!

The quite possibly the ugliest device I've ever seen - and the size of a can of Red Bull. I've seen it all now.
