Pocket friendly, though, no? Should work wonders for a guy's social life. I'm getting in on the pre-order. ;-)
Is that a Cloupor T5 in your pocket - or are you just pleased to see me?
Astounded by this thing - it's crazy ugly and it's an 18650, not even a 26650.

They are going to sell literally tens of these.

I think you're not giving this mod enough credit, after all it does have a puff counter... what more could you ask for?

Original Hana (1st release, early-to-mid 2013).

And before anyone asks, it's a removable sealant to keep juice from getting into the circuitry, in the event of an accident. It's removable for servicing, if required. None required yet, but I expect there will come a day.

Ok so this sealant shouldn't burn the circuitry like what happened to Agnes DNA? do you know why that happened?

Ribbing?

No, sir, I do not.

But there are people who some top-notch modders on this thread, so I would think one of them MIGHT. I am more of a breaker than a builder, I'm sorry to say.

I'm certainly not a "top-notch" modder but just a hobby modder (knocks on wood, none have fried, shorted, or failed yet)... I've broke a few also.... LOL

Some electronic components put off heat during use and confining the heat with something that won't disperse the heat can allow it to build up and if the build up exceeds the specs of the component it can fail. My younger brother designs, manufacturers, and sells data collection computer systems for race cars. He tells me it's best not to put any sealant over certain components. I haven't discussed the technical aspects specifically with him. Funny thing was the first mod I built years ago I sealed it with silicone also and when he saw that he just shook his head. As far as the heat absorbing capabilities of sealants.... no clue. I will be having lunch with him tomorrow and will get a bit more info and let ya know....I do know he uses a special "potting material" to encase some of the sensors (that draw milliamps of current) he builds to prevent others from stealing his technology but I don't know about the heat dispersing characteristics of it either.. probably doesn't adequately answer your question but hey...maybe an "e" for effort.... :)

I've been away from this thread for a while because everything has been running well as far as my Cana Clones.
Last night, I put on a RDA I was converting for bottom feed use to check ohms, and I guess it was too low and did something bad to my clone.
Now, I just get the dreaded "Check Atomizer" display on all my attys. SO, it's time to rebuild, which is fine. Been waiting for the day, actually. Just didn't think it would come this soon! (My blue clone is still fine)
SO, the question is I know many folks want to build the authentic DNA board into this. Has anyone actually done it? Is it a doable project for a fairly strong electronics hobbiest with good electrical and soldering skills?

Thanks. Gary

Just a report on my blue Cana Modz from Elev8 which came in on Monday. So far so good, no problems mentioned in this thread whatsoever. Fires from sleep everytime, Ohm meter is spot on, compared to a dedicated ohm meter and ProVari. Buildwise perfect, no imperfections, including the 510 connector, USB connector and switches. And it's a beauty.
