1. My "issue" (it's not an "issue, by the way, it's an observation) is that the subject of the thread went so far off course, I didn't expect any assistance with my problem- (which I got here just tonight.) -- in minutes!
2. I AGREE with your "freedom to express" comment. That's why I made the comment about the mod squelching all the replies! I am on your side, friend, no need to get defensive- you are an active poster in that thread, no ill response to you. I just wouldn't go there to get help right now.

The tone of my post was not meant to be defensive in any way. I just wanted to understand what you were saying fully. Moderators just moderate all of ECF and posts get deleted for various reasons from time to time. This thread currently has 49 deleted posts and deleted posts, I think, are a small percentage versus the total number of posts on ECF. You are correct that the thread you site is not designed to assist others with issues but a place where they may post what they feel are issues, vid/pics with test data, etc. (see OP of the thread) There are other threads for discussion/ issue resolution, etc. And yes, this thread no longer IMO is receiving a high percentage of HMC waiting posts.

this damn fast-tech clone is way misreading ohms. It usually reads the resistance higher than usual.

I had an innokin iclear at 1.5 which it read as 1.7

Now it is reading a mini protank2 2.5 ohm as 3.3 ohms.. way off

I have come to the conclusion the board is shot. I have started "disassembly" which consists of one screw (after removing the battery door) and a bunch of picking out various epoxies and glues. Then the buttons fall out of their own free will, into three pieces each. I put everything into a zip lock until I decide the next step. So it is.

The FT DNA 20 I have was off by .2 ohms :/ before it burnt out and died. When I get the replacement I am going to trim every bit of hot glue I can and only use Sony VTC 4's with it. But this Cloupor I purchased is almost 100% dead on. Its the V3 chip, upgraded 510 connector and everything. Hopefully the FT replacement will be usable after cleanup and some light modding. The only thing is that I'm going to wait another 2-3 weeks to receive it -- FT's prices are awesome but the shipping is so long when the item includes batteries. Wish they'd just leave out the fake EFest battery so it could ship 3-4 times faster LOL

That's why I posted it here. Hopefully anyone stumbling across the hana clone issues thread will also hopefully find this thread with people pointing out what's going on(fear mongering)in the issues thread.

Also just to be clear, I'm not calling out a mod or doing anything that needs moderating so please don't try and see something in my post that isn't there like you've done to others all over these hana clone threads retird. Example below.

Just curious which batteries you all use for this? I've heard you need high drain for above 17W & different battery for below? Does anybody use 1 type of battery or 2 different types? I will obviously order at least 2 batteries, any suggestions on which 2? I don't sub ohm right now, in the future possibly. Ty all

It pretty much has to be a new or redesigned chip due to the fact that it can down regulate.

Couple Sony VTC 5's or similar and you should be set for nearly any type of device/build, i personally run a purple 35a 2500mah Efest in my Cana, which also perform decently.

According to the clone instruction sheet the recommended batteries are:

7-20 watts- AM IMR, Panasonic CGR
20+ watts- Sony VTC4

Mine came with the Sony VTC4 ...

You only need one type. Any battery capable of doing 12A or over is fine.
