It pretty much has to be a new or redesigned chip due to the fact that it can down regulate.

Couple Sony VTC 5's or similar and you should be set for nearly any type of device/build, i personally run a purple 35a 2500mah Efest in my Cana, which also perform decently.

Logical conclusion since they are calling it a dna Experience™ Microchip. Also they say it has the ability to step-down power which gives sub-ohm vapers a wider precise range of usable power levels.

Oh well...some move on ... some don't....

Saw this earlier.... interesting paring between a US company and a Chinese company.... seems the landscape changes daily....

Today we are extremely proud to announce the ground breaking alliance of Innokin and Evolv, the technology leaders of advanced personal vaporizers and electronic cigarettes.
The worldwide vaping community has demanded that we produce a next generation device powered by Evolv technology and we are very happy to be able to fulfil this wish and exceed your expectations.
Vapers demand more power, more intelligence, more control and more durability. We need more in our vaporizers and we need them to be intuitive to operate, enjoyable to hold and incredible to look at.
To create the ultimate vaping device the teams at Innokin and Evolv have worked together closely over the past 8 months and have created a revolution in vaping that is also destined to be a milestone in vaping history. We have created the iTaste SVD2.0.
The iTaste SVD2.0 is a device that is powerful and beautiful, ultra-intelligent and also priced perfectly.
The SVD2.0 is the first and only Advanced Personal Vaporizer to run on the powerful and precise Evolv DNA Experience™ Microchip. Designed and manufactured in the Unites States by Evolv, the patented DNA Experience microchip offers true power control and unrivaled consistency.
The SVD2.0 features a maximum output power of 20W and a minimum resistance of .5ohm. The Evolv DNA Experience™ also has the ability to step-down power which gives sub-ohm vapers a wider precise range of usable power levels. With the iTaste SVD2.0 you can vape at any wattage you want regardless of the remaining charge of your battery.

Always Innovative, Often Imitated and Never Equaled; Innokin and Evolv are looking forward to giving you the very best in vaping.
The iTaste SVD2.0 - Coming soon to your favorite Authorized Innokin vendor.

EDIT: from the above.... What do you suppose this means.... The SVD2.0 is the first and only Advanced Personal Vaporizer to run on the powerful and precise Evolv DNA Experience™ Microchip.

Kinda late to the party innokin, 20 watts while fine for most people sx chips are 35w and higher. Kinda like Nokia coming out with
a smart phone to compete with an iPhone not gonna happen IMO...

Yep.... agree that 20 watts alone is not a game changer..... I find this most interesting (reference to ponder):

"..... worked together closely over the past 8 months and have created a revolution in vaping that is also destined to be a milestone in vaping history. "

20 watts is not a revolution in vaping or a milestone in vaping history, so I ponder if we just haven't been told yet who the guest speaker at their party will be....

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
Take just about any new product in any category and when it's about to be released the manufacturer will always make it sound like the second coming of Christ , it's expected .

You certainly will never hear , yeah we know it's 20 watts and we know we are late to the game but we think this one is going to be pretty good regardless.

Has anyone who requested a refund from illvapes received there money? I received an email from them on May 21st stating I would receive my refund in 5 to 10 days.
It's been 2 months for me now, I haven't received a dime. My bank is involved.
I just can't believe a company is still in business after stealing money like this. $70 is not going to break me, but I'm also not going to just donate it to them.

I've been curious how all that would shake out too. I've only seen one person confirm a refund. Have you called them? When I was waiting(impatiently) for my hana clone I was worried about them closing shop and keeping my money. It eventually arrived though.

Yeppers... hype is hype.... gonna be interesting to see what actually materializes....

Is there a reason you keep talking about the new innokin/evolv mod in here? You've started an evolv discussion thread, that seems like a much better place for it. Other than the fact that no one replied to it besides you.

Perhaps you should start a thread for the new innokin device, or search to see if one has already been started?

I still find this thread useful.

There's a solution to this problem. Stay on topic here. If this thread is done and is no longer necessary it will fall off page 1 of the vv forum and into the abyss of other threads that no longer are being posted in. Discuss the Hana clone here, talk about wait times and order issues, compare it to other devices if you want but there's no need for this:

Thiat would've been a great first post in another thread about the new SVD 2.0. The shower gel mod posts were at least about a new device by the manufacturer of the hana clone.
