Attempting to join the world of RBAs..

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get into the world of RBAs. I've been searching around and there are two in particular that are fairly cheap and perfect for my price range. One is the cobra clone and the other is the aga t2. I found a website that sells the cobra clone for about $19.xx and I'm not sure if it is legit. Have any of you guys done business with timeeast? Their prices are a bit too low to believe. The cobra clone is about $9 without shipping and from other websites, I've seen them for about $19 without shipping. Too good to be true?
Also the aga-t2 seemed perfect. Decent priced and perfect tank size, the only problem is trying to find a website that has it in stock! I've checked about 30 websites and they are all out of stock. Did the t2 get discontinued? I also saw the aga tiamat. Same price and what not but from what I hear from some people, the top cap is NOT pressure fitted on but instead screw on. But from others, they say that it is pressure fitted and the exact same as the aga t2. Can anyone shed some light for me?

I got the aga t+ and it has non screw on cap. Took a couple coils to get it right but it was worthwhile.. Got it at myvaporstore.

I just took a quick glance over their stuff and they don't seem to have the aga t+. The only thing that came up was the tanks for the t2 and the o ring kit. Is the aga t+ another name for the t2? Or is it different?

T2 has a glass tank vs t+ having the plastic tank.. I guess they sold out.
Is that the only difference? If I wanted to hold a higher level of e-liquid, could I use a slightly taller tank?
Jrcustomturning.com has some in stock but I've never dealt with them
Ouch, I just checked them out and it was a good price, 24.xx for 1 but man the shipping was ridiculous. It was either 17.xx or 25.xx for it to be shipped to me. I can't believe the shipping is about 80% of the cost of it.. but thank you for the link!
hello brother, i just got my second rba crazy deal from $8.52 Cobra Electronic Cigarette Round Mouth Atomizer - w/ hex wrenth at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping its free shipping, and it only took 10 days to arrive, I have to add it's great and im very happy with it. :)
It seems like an even better deal, are you vouching for these people? It sounds almost false to see it this low. I'm guessing its a super cheap clone?

I will be joining the RBA club just got a z atty
Very nice :D

The AGA-T2 is also referred to as the AGA-T+. They're the same thing, as far as I know, just named differently. When I got my AGA-T+/2, it was referred to as the AGA-T2.
Just so we're clear, I like to refer to the AGA-T+/2 as the AGA-T2 revision 2, because it's the second AGA-T released and right now, the current one selling is the second revision; thus, AGA-T2 rev.2. I actually prefer the first version of the AGA-T2.
Haven't dealt with this particular vendor, but here's a link...

Yes AGA T2 and AGA T+ and AGA Tiamat Plus are the same, many vendors are shipping with the pyrex glass tank in addition to the poly that comes with it. They are pre-assembled in China when shipped and are shipped as the AGA T2. The + is when the vendor is indicating the pyrex tank will be shipped along with it.

Just got mine from DiscountVapors last Friday. 400 SS Mesh and 32 Ga Kanthal. Took me two tries to get it set right, gone through three tanks already.

Steam's like a clothes iron with it's .... on fire

The new RSST may be better for a newbie, as the contact points between wick and tank are all insulated, so you wont have the biggest problem every newb experiences with RBAs: hot spots.

Also, i own a Cobra clone, $16 and vaping like a champ. Cheap does not always mean bad vape, especially with RBAs where quality depends on your build.

My local shop..Vapor Bank..shows the AGA-T+ in stock for $26.99. They state, however, that the glass tank is sold separately. They have a glass tank in stock too for $3.99. They have a descent web site. Not sure about shipping from Indiana. I just made my first stop there today and left $176 lighter in the wallet...ouch....wife not happy!

I absolutely LOVE my AGA-T+/2 setup. I got mine from discountvapers and it shipped with both the polycarb and the smooth pyrex tanks.

It came with barely enough SS mesh to make a hollow straw, be sure to buy extra if you plan to roll solid. I wish I did. They also sell parts kits for the neighborhood of 3 bucks. I'd get one or two of em, they have fresh o-rings and extra positive post nuts. I already lost one nut on day 2 lol.

Pro Tip- Before you assemble it take a look at the silica wick post. If you strip down the top cap, take out all the screws and post etc, you can pull that post out with enough badassery and a hammer + small nail. Theres a video on youtube about making U-Wicks for the AGA-T where the guy rips that post out. Do it. It makes a good air hole or you can do the U-Wick and keep both of your ground screws in.

It sure makes ME stop and think after seeing that site. Hope this is a new trend. I buy things I want even if they are overpriced, namely eRoll. Usually I look for deals a, this site looks promising. You were bold and not much to loose money wise if it was a bum deal. Good going

I heard about fasttech.com by reading this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/392613-real-dekang-ejuice.html and boy im glad i did, as for the cobra, i can't tell if it's a clone or not but it works, it does the job. if you go to the "discussions" tab on the product page you can see some extra info.

Why do you prefer the version 1 instead of the version 2? And thank you for the link! Just to be clear, the T+ is v.1 and t2 is v2?

Ohh I understand now the differences. Btw, how do you know if you did it wrong? And how often do you recoil and rewick it?

How can you tell if you have a hot spot? I took a look at the RSST and it looks very nice, I might consider it but I'm still leaning towards the aga t2 and tiamat. It seems to hold more fluid and it can be used for dual or U wick. It seems to be slightly cheaper also. I was able to take a look at the cobra/DID clone today online. It looks like a slim tank design. I want something that'll look perfect on an eVic or a k100 empire replica. But for the price, it doesn't seem like such a bad thing to have on the side?

Lol I know exactly what you mean! My girlfriend is sorta giving me a funny look now that I'm getting more and more into vaping as both a hobby and lifestyle change. Can you post the link to their shop?

Correction, they call it the AGA-T+ version 2. Yet another name to confuse all of us even more!! I assume that is the same as the AGA-T2.
Blahh why so many names?! :(

I also saw the silica wick post removal on youtube. I'm definitely going to consider doing it since I want to try a U wick design and a dual wick. Thanks for the heads up!
Btw, how much does SS mesh and kanthal wire costs on average? Very broad I know, but I mean is what is the average you see them for?

I was going to post about a place I ordered a t2 from today, but they just called and informed me their stock count was wrong and they had none to ship. A whole lot of places to buy gear from, just none that have what you want when your ready to buy.
They're always playing where's waldo when you're looking for stuff you need lol

I agree the rsst is like an ac9 and with it being insulated it will make set up a lot easier I probably about git rid of my genesis atty about three times before I got right and now I can't put it down
How'd you know it was wrong?
