CASAA Massachusetts Call to Action on E-Cigarette Tax Bill H.4291 would change Massachusetts' definition of 'smokeless tobacco' for tax purposes to include electronic cigarettes and dissolvable tobacco.

They want to TAX your E-CIGS including all E-CIG parts!!!! juice, CARTS, BATTERIES.....EVERYTHING!! 110% TAX


Increase the MA smokeless tobacco tax rate from 90% to 110% of wholesale price, and also tax electronic cigarettes and dissolvables at 110% of wholesale price. !!

Lets pound the Massachusetts with emails and phone calls.. We need to take this seriously!!! If this passes your state could be next!!!

I think everyone should post here every visit to the ECF so this thread stays at the top of the list! I have spent a good portion of the last hour reading the CASAA web site and will be donating on the monthly option (easy payment plan) due to having a limited income and two children in college. We all need to Stand Together on these issues and the CASAA is Fighting the good Fight on behalf of everyone here. If you are an x-analog smoker surely you have a few dollars a month to spare for a group that is trying to make sure the savings stay where they should, in your pocket and not BIG Governments!

Bumpage..... everyone needs to care about this. If one state does it, the rest will follow. Of course letters from MA carry more weight, but no elected official can ignore 1,000 letters. Write one!!!! Letters mailed carry more weight than an email, and a phone call is better than an email too, but DO SOMETHING. Nobody can afford NOT to do something.

Oh, check... Think I'll write a letter, too... Since I have an APO (Army Post Office) address, they won't easily know if I'm from MA. Having said that, MILITARY MEMBERS UNITE!
