i've got a janky tugboat clone RDA. 3 hollow posts with the smallest holes i've ever seen. i had to build a sleeper coil to get dual 23awg coils in. i might have changed my mind on the new RDA though, i just remember royal hunter. those things are legit
The post holes in the atty 3 are small aswell so if you're looking to do bigger builds to put in the posts then maybe this isn't for you but I use 24g or 26g Clapton coils so it fits for me and I like how it tightens in the posts.

i'm no physicist, but i'm guessing the current shape of decks serve a purpose. don't quote me though, just thinking out loud. the dog bone shaped wells seem like the closest thing to a better functioning deck. maybe they're circular because it is easier to manufacture. we need either a machinist to build some test subjects, or a physicist to explain lol

Out of the 3 RDAs I just receive (Velocity clone, Mutation V4 clone, and Royal Hunter) I am using the Royal Hunter the most. Great RDA!

I'm a machinist myself and making square decks wouldn't be hard to make but they take more time and material also you would need a smaller top cap and a smaller deck if the top was bigger unless they make much larger sized rdas and putting o rings on a square deck wouldn't be so easy.
