atty dead after paper towel method cleaning?

I just got this atty like 2 weeks ago. worked fine. i decided to clean it with the paper towel method (rip off a piece, but it in atty upside down so it drains). after i pulled the PT, i loaded up the atty and now nothing. doesnt get hot or antyhing. this happened to my last atty but i just thought it just died (my first atty) so now i see the same thing has happened, i want to know if theres a way to bring it back to life or do i have to buy another 1>

Well, first make sure all contacts are very clean. Attys and cartos when on batts or mods can get a char material on the threads, which can break the connection. If this does not work, then, yes, the atty is dead. Best to have several backups in case of this sort of thing. If these were on an HV PV, or were LR attys, both these scenarios put a big strain on them. Two weeks is a bit on the short side, so you might want to go with a different vendor. You don't say the PV model, so its hard to point you in the right direction, but my Joye 510 attys last many weeks if I take care of them.

if you have a multimeter, test the resistance of the atty. this will tell you for sure if it is dead or not.
