I have two atties (need to get more). The draw on one is pretty hard. I actually like it because it produces major vapor. The draw on the other has become very weak, like there's no resistance at all. The vapor production is low and so is the taste. I haven't flooded it and I've tried PG and VG juices in it. I realize the atty that has a hard draw needs a good cleaning, but is there anything I can do about the atty that has too weak of a draw?

Probably not.. Every once in a while you get one like that. I have never been successful in trying to get them to work like they should.. Some times there is a break in period. Dont give up yet,

Thanks Doots. I have a notion to put straight VG in it to see if I can "gunk" it up a little...Probably not a great idea but I'm not getting much use out of it as is.

haha i just gave that a try too.

i dropped two drops of straight glycerin in and immediately blew it out into a napkin from the cart end. i then did a dry burn and let it cool.

added 3 drops of my favorite liquid and it actually did start to have a better draw after that. not great, but improved.

i'm letting it sit for a bit to see if this is a long lasting fix..will update..

i think we are in business... maybe more important was the way i put my liquid in after this process, being sure to let the atty settle down and cool between each dripping and draw. i sort of let a bit come out of my dropper then "set" it onto the bridge gently, letting it absorb.

still a little bit of an "air" draw, but not very evident any longer. getting the harder draw finally. go ahead and give it a go.

Hey, Sahara....

I've had this issue on some attys as well...i've found that it's actually an airflow issue...but it seems the more airflow in the atty the better...i look in the hole & if the steel mesh is too thick, i use a pair of tweezers and squeeze the steel mesh till it is thinner - more the size of the metal bridge below it...

you should be able to see the hole to the coil on both sides of the mesh - if not, then the mesh is too fat...

i've also found that EGO atomizers work better for a 510 than that actual 510 atomizer...

assuming you're using a 510 that is...

Thanks for the info. I am using a 510. I ended up gutting the atty that was giving me the problems, and it does a bit better but still not as good as it should. I'm getting some new attys in today (hopefully) and I'll remember what you said about the mesh and the holes! :)

I've used both 510 and 901 attys during my vaping experience,,the 901's are my preferred attys,,i have had several 510 that tend to be too airy,,seeing how they have 4 air passages in them compared to the 1 air passage of the 901,,you can get an adapter to use 901's at www.ValueVapor.com - Deep Discount Electronic Cigarettes . James has great prices and lightning fast shipping too. hope this helps you guys.
