Atty getting red hot but no vape???

I lost a couple of attys after a Crest soak, maybe I left them in there too long. I also lost one after an alcohol soak. I think maybe boiling is the best way to clean them but I hate to soak them in anything. From now on I'm just going to blow them out and only soak them if absolutely necessary.

I boil mine every night, may be overkill but it works.

I boil them, then blow them out, then I put a few drops of liquid on the bridge before I go to bed so it kinda primes the atty overnight.

I hate it when it takes an hour to get a good prime on an atty.

You can pull out the bridge and still drip?? I thought the bridge is what gets the "vaporizing" going??
