Atty Life

Just cant figure out why I kill so many attys. The posters on this board will say 7-14 days are good for atty life and that is about what I get on 510 atty's on ego. However I have 10 local new vapers I got started that have been vaping for 3 months using ego 510's. In 3 months they have ZERO bad attys

Couple of weeks ago I switched to leo. I really like the boge leo for vaping flavor th and battery life. However the same thing with atty's after first week I had a blown atty. Boge brags how great their new attys are but for me so far same life span on attys as 510

I have noticed that for me it comes down to two things. How thick my juice is and how consistant I am keeping it filled right. I was going through them like mad. I stopped using dark thick juices. Nothing higher than 50vg and no dark colors. Worked wonders. Second was keeping a closer eye on how well I keep it filled. I swtiched to the blue foam and top off the atty and the cart each time I notice vapor production drop. I also noticed that I had to keep an even closer eye on it if I was vaping with higher voltage or lower resistance. Don't flood it don't let it get dry, use cleaner juices and less volts. It's a trade off though. If you need a very cheap supply of either regular or low resistance atties check out AlibabaExpress. 510 atties are $1.77 each delivered in quantity and Lr 510 ego atties2.57 each delivered. The thing is us vapers here in cny that I got started share the same juice and vendors for juice so not the juice. I use blue foam and as soon as I taste that it is dry I refill. I vape more than them but still in 3 months they have had zero atty's go bad. I switched to leo and so far atty's no better

Maybe it's the way they are hitting it ? Are they taking big hits or mimicking a regular drag of a cigarette ? My neighbor mimics, He doesn't blow plumes of vapor, just small mists. I'd say his atomizer will last way over a month.

I would have to say big hits about 7-8 seconds. Is that really asking too much from an atty? How about a super duper boge leo atty? Yeh guess too much

Don't feel bad,after 2 years of vaping my record is 5 weeks.If I get more than 2 weeks out of an atty I put in a glass case on my fireplace where it can be worshiped properly.

Maybe you just vape more than them & you have more frequent vape sessions ? I myself keep my sessions similar to when I was a smoker. I'll take 9 big hits within a 5 minute period & try not to vape anymore until the next hour. Good luck with prolonging atomizer life.

Only way I am going to get an hour between vapes is if I am sleeping...lol. I was just hoping the boge leo would live up to its claim of being a super duty atty

If your using a vg liquid that can be hard on your atty try using a pg liquid it isn't as thick and it's not as hard on your atty.
PG= Less vapor more TH
VG= More vapor less TH

One of my 510's that I am using is from my original kit and it is still rocking and rolling... I am now rotating a new one in but the original is good to go for now (I understand that I just cursed it and it is likely to pop on the next drag... knock on e-wood).

I never checked my atty's ohms before they died but I just checked a still working boge leo atty that out of the box was 2.9 now it is checking out at 1.9. Still works good but for how long? The atty is 16 days old

So far 1 second is the quickest death and some last more than A year its pot luck I'm afraid. Not to mention the total duds. check out the atomiser from nhaler and bullysmoker in germany make re build attys. Quite chunky and not good for a lot of us tho.
