Depends on which heat sink and which atty. There isn't really a standard in the industry. That's why spring loaded 510 connections and such are so popular.
I gave up on getting rid of gap, while keeping full throw. Solution: (the simplest most obvious answer) toss an Oring in the gap between top cap and atty. It actually looks pretty good too. Meh, I can live with it.

I've played w the panzer.. love the way it hits, hate the way it looks. Same w the fuhattan. Haven't tried a Manhattan yet. I did get abother atty for the flagship I'm having the issue with. Mutation x v2 clone. Had the shortest threads in the 3rd store I went to. Tightened up the gap so the Oring is sitting in it tight.
