If the atomizer stops working it will do just that *stop* working.
Does the atomizer get hot-> if yes then the coil is still good.
However this does not help your situation. What kind of atomizer is it, 901/801?
The 901s use a draw hole near the battery connection to pull outside air through the atomizer, if this is blocked an any way, you will not get any airflow through the atomizer (especially since the PD/PT are both sealed, meaning that no air is pulled through the battery end). I could possibly see a bit of coil "gunk" clogging up the intake hole, but this is very unlikely.

The best solution that i could offer is to "cola bath" your atty in the hopes that any gunk that *could* be clogging it is dissolved/washed away. Keep in mind any maintenance you do will be at your own risk, but seeing as you have a non-working atty anyway, whats the harm.

My first atty stopped working on my after the 2nd day of use so I've been messing with it to see what wrong. I can get any air flow through it when I suck on it. I've blown it out quite a few times. I was wondering if this happens when the atty stops working or do you think there is some kind of blockage in it?
Yeah if you can't get air flow, then something is blocking it. That doesn't typically happen to an atty that is bad, usually it just stops producing vapor, but you still get air flow.

unclog it somehow, and it might actually work again.

Well, ruuku is right.
First you'll need to identify if it is a coil failure or just a "gunk-up".
There are several ways to find out if your coil has failed. Try to have a few drags from your ecig. If you feel the shell of the atty warming up, than your coil is still working and most probably you have an air flow blockage or a gunked coil.
If the coil does not heat up, than it probably broke or you might have a bad connection to the battery.
In case that tou have a multimeter, measure the coil's resistance...should be 3...5 ohm.
