I use a Volcano E-cig. What is the best way to clean the atty? I have been rinseing the bridge us purified water then blowing out into a paper towel. Is there a better way that will make the atty last longer?
I myself use the Crest Pro Mouthwash (blue) based on another member's "tests" and his results. I've been very happy with them for all my 901 and 801's.
15 minute soak with light agitation in the solution, rinse well with hot water, blow out and let dry 24 hours.
I like to soak mine in Everclear for 1hr 38 minutes, wrap in aluminum foil, microwave for 15 minutes, remove and refrigerate for 12 minutes, drop in a chicken broth beef stew mix, blow out and repeat. (A raindance may be required for extra clogged attys)
I do this about 9 times a week. Doesn't really help, but I like the routine.
Given that we do try and maintain some safe advice on this forum, please don't put aluminum foil or an atty (unless fully submerged in water) in the microwave.

If your attys are lasting 6-8 weeks then you probably don't need to ever clean them. I only clean when I notice the draw becoming hard as it seems there is no safe/effective way to clean the atty coil itself (dry burns and peroxide burns do seem to help a bit though). Alcohol, mouthwash, hydrogen peroxide, and seemingly everything else tried so far; only clean the mesh surrounding the coil thus clearing the airways.
So, unless you're trying to clean out a bad taste or clogged airways, I'd say leave the atty to rest. Yet, for a dead atty I do recommend the raindance method along with animal sacrifices.
