My very first atty still works!!!
I gave it the Crest Pro Mouthwash bath and it's going strong. That pretty much means in seven months I have lost one atty.
Not bad at all and I hope my luck continues. If so, my thirty or so attys should last me a verrrrrrry long time.
I know, right?

I have 30 510 atomizers and 30 306 atomizers that I stocked up on.
And I haven't had any die yet.

Damn, I might just have a 15 year supply!!
:D

Has anybody tried the manufacturer suggested method of taking a clean cart, putting a couple drops of water on it, and puffing that through? I suppose it sounds like it makes sense if you use purified water. Perhaps once in a while doing that with vodka? Not inhaling either, obviously. :p

Here's a good procedure.

2 oz. Vodka.
1 Eye Dropper.

1. Drop 2 drops in the atty.
2. Let soak for 10 minutes.
3. Add 2 drops of juice.
4. Vape the mixture, and drink the left over Vodka.:D:D:D

Hockey, sounds like a thread I read this morning. Pepsi, etc. has sugar in it. That could be the problem. Heat up some purified water in the microwave, then drop in your atty to rinse out.

If you can get EverClear grain alcohol, that will give you a good cleaning and evaporate so you won't have to use water ever again. I use the Crest Pro Health mouthwash as a soak, then put in the Everclear. Blow out the atty and then reprime.

Many attys will be sluggish if you haven't put enough liquid in them or if they are still wet. Try some more e-liquid by dripping on the bridge and letting it soak in for 5 minutes. The first couple of hits can be harsh, so I don't inhale those. Add more liquid as you need to get it going a few drops at a time (you don't say what atty model you are using).

Hey Hellen,

2 tings.

1) You sold on the crest pro mouthwash like over efferdent, etc...

2) We know you are the battery queen... tell me where to get 17335's or whatever the heck batt that is for vapin at 6 on the chuck. Oh, charger too. And make it cheap.

Yeah, I gave up on cleaning them a long time ago. Just drain or blow them out once in a while, that's all you really need to do.

Thats all I do now, I tried all the cleaning methods people recommended and 90% of the time it ruin the atty. So now I just do what he said above. Stopped the cleaning, and I have atty that have been lasting me for months.

LOL... slaving away for the husband is what is taking so long. Here he interrupts me every night, expects me to get off my duff and fix dinner! Humph!

Anyhoo... I have used the crest pro... don't know if it really makes a difference. I soak them afterwards in Everclear, blow out, and prime. All fire right up and have run just fine afterwards. I just think coke, water, etc. is a bad idea. At least Everclear will get rid of what ever you first use to clean (umm, but don't use denture tablets, blech... rule should be if you won't put it in your mouth, don't put it in your atomizer), and Everclear evaporates totally so attys dry super fast. I just do the ol' wrist snap (like a thermometer) until I can't feel liquid come out of it anymore, blow out a few times and repeat. Prime and I'm puffin away in no time. Everclear is only used when I change flavors or if I can't get an atty blown out. I seem to get great atty life by not cleaning very often, ha.

Bats, huh? Well, I decided not to do 6v because of the issues with stacked batteries discharging.... I think these might work and are a great deal, bit safer technology (Life-Po) and come with a charger and car charger! $16.95

Kendall is to get chargers back on at HighTechDealz if you want to stick with Li-Ion. Have you looked there? Might want to ask him about 3v bats for your Duckie Chuckie. :p I asked him for the 18650 in a 3000mAh and he got them on his site if you want a great battery for 3.7v (really, they're great). He has 2 left!

PS - JD - that is the best cleaning method EVER!! I'll clean attys more often if I use the Jim Method. Ha.

OK. Starting to believe my flavor problems are stemming from inferior juice. I ordered a 10 pack of 3ml samples from a supplier, and they were pretty blah. I just got in an order of the HV stuff from nhaler, and OMG that stuff is good! Trying out the mint chocolate chip first. Not much throat hit, but I really didn't expect much from so sweet a flavor. Tasty and great vapor. I expect the RY4 and Kent to do more hit. Looking forward to trying them.

Anyhow, thanks VERY much to everyone's suggestions and help. I love this place. :thumb:

I've been doing this when I change flavors, and I have to thank you again, because it's been working great! I get much better flavor from my juices and consistant vapor. I also took the advice of have a separate atty for menthol type flavors and happy with that too. Man, I love this site!!! :D

I never soak mine for long. I'm afraid whatever I'm soaking in with dissolve things it shouldn't!

I have one atty that I drip on exclusively as I create and test my flavor concoctions. That one needs frequent cleaning since some flavors seem to stick to it forever. I use plain vodka in a syringe tube - just enough to cover the atty. I shake gently up and down and let it sit for a minute or so. Then I drain off the vodka and blow through the atty. I immediately put it on a battery and give a quick draw or two to heat it up and dry off the remaining vodka. Then I prime and vape away. This has worked very well for me so far.

I hope your attempts at resuscitation are successful! :)

Yeah, I can understand that. It was pretty gunked up from me trying (14) different juices. I could see the crud in there even after blowing it out, which I did each day. I also like to maintain stuff to get the most of it I can. I can definitely say that the new atty is bringing back a lot of flavor I can now remember from before but didn't realize I'd lost so much. I'll keep yall posted if I'm able to revive the other one with the suggestions above. Man, I gotta order more attys!!!!

I would definitely say that 14 different juices will do the trick.....LOL no punt intended...:):):)
