Gawddamn! It is vape porn! The new 213 eh? How is it?
Well I've only had it for a short while, but here's something I prepared earlier. Someone was hounding for it last night ;p
Okay... my initial impressions on the Sigelei 213 are:
The dimensions are almost identical to the Cuboid; however, it's a tad shorter (3.5mm) and much lighter. The build seems to be sturdy. It has a good form factor and feels good in the hand (insert joke here). There is no rattle whatsoever when you shake the mod and the buttons are nice and clicky. Even though the fire button is flush, it is not difficult to locate and fire with either your thumb or index finger. Much like the Cuboid, the battery door is on the bottom of the mod, where it has a hinge and flips open. Once closed, it stays firmly in place. I have my 25mm Boreas sitting on top of it and there is no overhang; there is still 1mm room left towards the front and sides of the mod. The screen display is definitely new, not akin to the generic one's we have grown accustomed to with other mods, and it is brightly lit. It shows the voltage reading in each battery and you see these variables constantly fluctuation, even when the device is idle; something I have not seen any other mod do, even my Reuleaux DNA 200. In addition, it also shows the voltage (combined voltage from the two batteries) and amps. The scrolling speed is quite fast and I can decrease it to a min. 10w and increase it to a max. of 213w. I'm not nuts enough to vape at the max. wattage, nor do I wish to fry the coil/wick in Boreas. And if it is possible to get 213w (which I highly doubt), I do know it will cause heavy strain on the two batteries, which obviously is not good for the batteries. In TC settings you get the SS (304, 316 and 317) Ti1, Ni200, TCR and TFR . I don't use TC so I won't be able to give you much info in that regards. In the preheat power adjustment setting, I can set it a min. of 10w to max. 213w and a min. of .10 to 9.99 sec.
My Boreas has a dual clapton build in it ohming out to 0.49 and I'm vaping it at 85w. There is no noticeable fire delay. Comparing it with my RX200, I cannot notice anything different with the way it vapes, for now. After setting the preheat power settings to 130w at 1 second, I do notice the mod firing at higher watts and pulling back after 1 sec. In this event there is a noticeable change when comparing with the RX200; however, it's minor.
I need more time with the mod before I can give my final thoughts. I don't see any point in comparing the vape with the Cuboid, and so I'll continue to compare it to the RX200. I'll also be comparing it with the Reuleaux DNA 200.
