Mine is set to be delivered on Monday. I should just stay off this thread until then as you guys are KILLING me! :)

Well think yourself lucky that you live in the states, us poor folk on the other side of the water have still got a long wait for theirs :( :D

And hearing all the good things about this tank is not very good for my very limited patience :D

But it also makes me wonder if I should have ordered two of these, but there's still the Merlin to look forward to when it's released :)

Sub tank supply is showing out of stock. Is that the only vendor that has these?
AFAIK. I understand they're reordering. Supposedly black will also be available. I further understand the production run was like 2000 units, with 100 of them gone so far. Should be more available somewhere soon. If the vendor sold out their stock in a couple days, I'm sure they'd want more.

Bunch of vape mail today!!

Red/black RX200, red Cricket, Sammy 25r's(r5) and Aromamizer Supreme.

Haven't built the Supreme yet but first impressions....lots of knurling, lots of branding, separate JFC/AFC, smaller build deck and the posts are closer together than the Boreas. Looks pretty nice if you don't mind all the knurling/branding but the "clean lines" of the Boreas looks better to me.

I'm going to clean it up and try to put the same build I have in the Boreas, if it will fit, and give her a go!! But I already know what my favorite is!!!

A black one is still on my wish list!:headbang:
Black is coming. I talked to Subtank Supply. They are also getting more stainless.

We're all waiting for Merlin.

It will be made by Augvape...same manufacturer as the Boreas. We had been told the prototype would be tested this week. Maybe we will see it in another week or two. Hoping. And hopping...can't wait!
I am equally excited for the Merlin! Augvape is killing it!
I propose a toast........ cheers folks!

Ok I"M BACK! Any one who is still having trouble wicking follow the steps in the vid earlier or just search Boreas on YT! I've done 2 different builds ( dual 3mm SS fused 6wrap & dual alien 3mm 6 wrap) the way I've wicked them both is the same! Cram them full of rayon( really tight) cut the tails long & fold them under on to the deck! Don't be afraid about covering air flow because the way I see it no matter how much wick you put into it as long as it doesn't cover the sides & bottom of your coil you're good! Build it the way you might build an RDA with longer tails! I came about this way because of what I learned from MT & Griff! Fill the juice channels all the way! Not really crammed with wick but no corners empty! The only way I could figure how to do this was to fill the deck with wick & make sure it is tucked down (not crammed) into the juice well! It seems to work best for me! hope this helps! Now for some "Proud Pappa' pics!

I am thinking about getting one of these but one thing is holding me back. I wish there were separate controls for the juice and airflow. I wonder why it's not like that. I've read a few people have had trouble with leaking and it would seem to me if you could adjust the juice flow independently that would solve their problem.

What I'm saying is if you like an airy vape but use what I would call normal coils (not Claptons or anything fancy) that it might be advantageous to be able to adjust the JFC down while leaving the airflow open. Not ripping on it since I don't have one yet, just trying to figure out why the JFC and AFC aren't operated independent of each other.

Cheers,
Steve

What I've found is that the JFC/AFC ratio is just about perfect for me! No gurgling or flooding at low watts wide open or no dry hits at high watts almost closed! I've found this to be true for both decks! As far as leaking goes it has dribbled on filling for me once or twice but that was when I first got it! If anything I've gotten less moisture out of this tank than my MT or Griffin! Don't be worried of the things you've heard about! Their is absolutely way more awesomeness to this tank than really small problems!

Hi Steve, I know it might not make much sense on paper, but when you use it, it makes perfect sense. The only way I can see someone getting leaks is if they literally skimp out on the wicking or they're using the wrong deck for the juice/build they've installed, or they didn't follow the filling instructions in the manual.

To put it in perspective, I'm using a 92VG juice in my Boreas, using the smaller 2mm wick hole version deck. Running it at 55-70 watts with a simple build in there, with thick juice, wicked like an RDA (generous amount of cotton) and filled properly (close JFC, open top cap, fill it, close top cap, flip it upside down, open JFC, flip it rightside up - as per the instruction booklet) and I've experienced not a single drop of leakage.

When actively vaping, most people that I know just leave their JFC open all the time anyway, so I can't see the JFC being a leak-causer in itself. But I could truly see someone getting leaks/flooding when using the 2.5mm deck with a build/juice that doesn't require it tho.

Oh how I'm absolutely in LOVE with this Tank!
Got mine on Thursday and have tried both decks. The machine work is outstanding, smooth threads and no machine oil. Only downside was one of the o-rings was broken but plenty of spares.

Put stainless steel fused Clapton's in the rowdy deck, went up to over 120 watts, way to hot for me but no dry hits. Popped a pair of SS Clapton's in the other deck and currently keep it around 60 watts for a very nice Vape. She starts getting dry hits around 75-80 watts.

Loving it, going to get the Black one when it comes out.

Only design flaw is it really, really needs knurling for the top cap. I really don't know why a lot of manufacturers don't have this. Seriously designer's why?

Here it is on one of my Reuleaux's and my 26650 Parallel Mech

No issues, as mentioned the airflow/juiceflow ratio really is perfect. I've Vaped with 80 VG and again with a 65 VG ratio with no leaks other than a bit after I fill. I believe this is due to I purposely light with my cotton and didn't notice the post about cracking one hole open half way when filling, I"m going to try this on my next fill. Which will be soon, fused Claptons are thirsty ;)

I really do love this Tank, love my VCMT 25MM, but the flavor on this beauty is better. I was going to get the 30mm VCMT, but got this instead, glad I did ;) I may still get the 30mm VCMT for my 26650 Mod's, depends on how soon the Black version of this beauty comes out.

Black is supposed to be available soon. @MMW messaged the supplier and got that response.
