Yea I didn't mind my ss without the knurling, the threads would catch once in a while but nothing bad. It might just be because there's no juice in it yet but the afc feels smoother while moving also. I didn't think this rta could get any better but I guess I was wrong. All reviewers complained about it, the first version didn't have the knurling, ALLERIA looking top cap[emoji41]
Second shipments are always better, I go the black, I like it, top cap was never an issue, and yes SMOOTH OPERATOR[emoji106][emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]Yea I didn't mind my ss without the knurling, the threads would catch once in a while but nothing bad. Plus all the o-rings were in perfect shape. Which is good cause my ss one needs them lol
Hey, my friend, where did you order that one? And what serial number did you get?I just got my black boreas in the mail. I didn't realise they added knurling to the top cap and the threads feel 100 times better.
Sorry for the bad picture. I'm driving home. I'm not sure if it's old news or not, just exciting to me lol
Edit: man the camera on my new galaxy s7 is allot nicer then my old phone lol I can see the threads in my work pants (sweat pants)

All I had handy was some nickel, so I did a simple 10 wrap and wicked with Joc. I have been busy and plan to build some more fused claptons. But was anxious to fire it up so the ni within reach works fine for now. Plus gives me easy flavor comparison since it was ni in my other rta. What did you throw in it for a build?
Did you do a single build through the middle of the posts? All

Diggin it so far.
No standard dual 3.5mm wraps. Was short on time again so just did what I knew would work with minimal tinkering. At worst Saturday evening I'll start with big builds etc... With family and working over 120 hours in the past 2 weeks time has been at a premium.Did you do a single build through the middle of the posts?
It really depends on your vape style and how you want your vape? I like .2-4 range and also like to use thicker wireI have some Kanthal A1 28 gauge, can any one tell me how big and how many wrap should I do? Thanks

28g would require 18 wraps per coil @3.5mm to get me where I like to be
