Glad to have found this thread and have quite a bit in one place. I'd heard about all about vapor, but thanks so much hibiscuits for letting us know about xt9. My SIL just tried emonkeysjuice and really likes it, so maybe I can get her to make a trip up there at some point and hit up a couple of these places.

Go to All About Vapor in Round Rock. They have the best service. Every time I go there its pretty busy. Its like going to baskin robbins where you have to pick a number to get a scoop. Being new to vaping, when the guys have time, they will answer all your questions. Ask for Jennifer, she is great...the rest of them are also. They will mix however you want. I get all VG and they have to large selection of juices. I've been vaping for about 2.5 weeks so far. Good luck!

Thanks for the Plug Aaron! My name is Justin Suriff and I just opened Create A Cig in the shopping center on the corner of W. Parmer Lane and Lamplight Villiage. We are open but don't expect to have our storefront sign up by Tues or Wens.

All About Vapor is based out of Round Rock near 79 and 35. They have some great juices and keep clean drip tips on hand to let you sample before buying. Prices are not terrible and you can order online and pick it up later without waiting for service if it's busy there.

ETA: Didn't read the last post and basically reiterated what he said about AAV.

I just found a place called Create A Cig on Parmer and Lamplight Village just east of mopac.

I stopped by Create a Cig a few days ago after checking out All About Vapor, I definitely prefer the more "normal" store experience rather than AAV's take a number approach. Nothing against AAV, just never felt all that comfortable there. When I stopped in Create he really seemed to know his stuff (though, to be fair, I barely do so it doesn't take much). Product selection was pretty impressive. The web site's still a bit spartan as is the store interior but given that it's only been open a month, hopefully it'll come alive before too long. I'm looking forward to the e-hookah lounge that's in the works.

I also went to Liquixpress which is pretty close to AAV. Wasn't all that thrilled with their setup. A small typical store front, average selection, nothing all that special.

Was at All About Vapor today - great experience. Small shop but plenty of room to hang out (and vape) at one of the many bistro type (yet Austinish) tables. Central 'bar'/counter area where (today, Black Friday) half a dozen worker-bees were busy mixing juice.

Come in - take a number (presumably on busier days) - grab a menu and chill until it's your turn. At the counter - friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful Vaperista's. Good juice - decent prices (comparable to online). They'll mix whatever you like right there on the spot.

From what I understand - can also place orders online and pick them up as well (saw dozens of little vapor-goodie bags waiting for their owners.)

Overall - I can recommend the place, no doubt. Support brick-n-mortar shops. (It's a bit of a haul from South Austin - but worth it for both the support-your-local-shops, and no-vape-mail, reasons.) Check 'em out.:vapor:

Glad i found this thread. New to vaping (quit smoking a month ago after 17 years) and am glad i know of two places near that i can goto to get supplies. most likely will hit up Create a Cig as soon as i can hitch a ride that far north (live near manchaca and take the bus). Really want to make the trek one day and hit up both places and maybe stop at IKEA.

This is not meant to be a review of All About Vapor, but a call for more entrepreneurs to get a shop open in Austin. North Round Rock is a long drive to make from Austin, only to find yourself waiting inside the store longer than it took to get there. Also, why are the shops all up north? A B&M e-cigarette shop with cool mods and in-store made liquids in downtown Austin would make a KILLING.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend All About Vapor as an e-liquid vendor. I smelled the store from the edge of the parking lot, and all 4 juices I purchased taste like that smell after weeks of steeping. Many people must like that smell and maybe you will too, because they have more customers than they know what to do with. However, the employees were VERY nice people while being VERY busy for a weekday morning. 20+ minutes to have my number called with 6+ staff all doing as best as humanly possible is an obvious sign that Austin needs more e-liquid vendors. Nothing to read but the menus, which took less than 5 minutes, and some crackpot conspiracy magazines that were all over the place(major turn-off). Good place to go if you need a battery/charger/carto in a pinch.

Did I miss something, or is All About Vapor the only juice maker within 20 minutes of Austin?
