authentic aero tank?

So today I bought a kangertech aero tank. The box is labeled kangertech and everything looks fine like the real deal. However there is no scratch off thing to reveal the product code and no serial number of any kind. I specifically asked the vendor if it was genuine and he assured me that it was, so since I have never had any issues with the shop before I trusted him.

Can u guys help me? Also I noticed that there were no extra o ring seals like iv seen on reviews granted it was the last one he had the display model and I may have just dropped the seal out but I don't think so as I haven't taken out the beauty ring adapter thing.

Where should the scratch off be?

I just checked the boxes that my 2 came in and neither of them have a scratch off code. I am sure they are both authentic. Don't know about the tiny O-rings. I know they are tiny things so could have gotten lost when the box was opened at some point.

oops, I just checked and I was wrong. The scratch off code is on the side of the pull out tray.

I just google image search for aero tank package, and everything looks correct with the exception of one or two pictures had the scratch off thing on the side of the box that slides out of the cover and also read that they are being mass faked with packing the same as the authentic ones so I'm kinda ...... right now bc I believe it's a fake, a reallygood fake tho.

As far as performance it's great no complaints but I paid premium price for a premium item and I want what I paid for

No I got it from a small shop.iv been buying at for some time now and have had no problems b4

are there other shops in the area that sell the same item?? if so, go make a visit and see

It could be that it is the display model. It's tough to keep track of parts on the displays. One reason they usually go as is and cheaper.

Most of the clones of KT stuff have a black o-ring on the drip tip. The authentics have a clearish/white teflon o-ring. It's a pretty good indicator.
