So I recently picked up the Mutation X V2 and was super excited about getting it. Well I recieved it found out they used a lame never seen before triangle screw head and that the drip tip hole was not your normal 510 size so you can only use their drip tip. Lots of fails but to see it up close come check out my rant/review on youtube. Stay away from this rda!!!

So let me get this straight. This RDA is no good because you don't like it? Got it.

There is a lot of stuff on the market I don't care for but others very much enjoy.

So let me get this straight.. I'm spending my hard earned money on an rda that ended up not being better than the original.... And now I want to help people not make the same mistake?

There's a lot of stuff on the market I have bought that I ended up not liking... And others can be prevented from making the same mistake

Or there are others who like it... I don't like the Veritas so does that make it a bad RDA?

Or you and/or Op could show a little patients and do some research on a device, check out its features set/design/etc. before attempting to be the first kid on the block to own one.

Now, a quick Google images search clearly shows the Drip tip Bore and the Chuff is becoming popular. I.E. a wanted feature by certian people.(not op in this case)
I'm not even sure why you buy a guarantied Cloud maker and want a 510 drip tip on top to diminish function, but whatever.

Screws? OMG seriously? Okay they are weird. Obviously a play on design/Style/uniqueness or whatever. But to go to pieces over a few cents worth of threading? Some people complain about Hex Screws and some about Phillips. I'd personally like to hang the guy that invented slot head screws! However they all work and they can all be replaced with your preference.

You Review something either show the defect in design or you explain why you personally do not like the design.

Not liking a product is PERSONAL not a reason to WARN OTHERS of anything
Reviewing honestly and pointing out what you do not like is helpful.
Reviewing and pointing out actual DEFECTS is helpful

Assuming you can control the choices of others by your preferences is just plain silly.

After long waiting and reading (Reviews - Ha!) I finally picked up an Origin. Vapor and Flavor Kill the MAGMA they said.
Well it is an interesting design.
It does have decent Vapor production, but nothing special
I am still waiting on the Flavor burst after 3 weeks, but not holding my breath.
I have 2 Magma's and they both way out perform my Origen so far.(will keep tinkering)
However, I do not assume I know everything and it is no good.
Maybe with others using it I will find answers to my puzzle. A build, an adjustment, a minor modification.

Am I ...... I spent my money? - No, it was my decision.
Am I ...... other seem to have a better experience? - No, the Build/use is on me.

Most people don't know this :D It looks absolutely hideous too
LoL looks always fall second to performance for me. Nice to know that i can put a SS tip in their delrin tip though. Not a bad idea if your gonna through a flavor build in there and shut down some of the air. I am going to talk to the manufacturer and see if they are going to be putting out any other tips for this. Preferably in a SS version.

I've put about 12 builds in nine trying to like it... And cloud production is of course there but all my flavors are muted compared to the v1... Even single in single coil, the mutationx v1 wins... And the doge beats both in flavor... But that's just from two weeks of use

I really don't care about the features like the triangle heads or the drip tip... They are nice but performance is everything and it's just not there

Sorry if my post seemed rude. I just call it like I see it most of the time. I try to help where I can and often, with the help of other ECF members find solutions for issues others are having.
One thing I never understood was buying without knowing then complaining rather than correcting.

It just seems that many really expect to not only have their Cake and eat it, but to have someone feed them with a golden fork and clean up after.

Are we all really getting that pitiful? :(

*After thought on the v2:
A second drip tip could be cut off to cleanly hold a 510 if that is desired, until someone offers a proper insert.(hopefully the Manufacturer) Look at all the Kayfun add-ons now available.
Then again there will likely be a Version 3 with the changes.<<<<<< That is the way of Authentics.

your muted flavor is either your build or your using too much air

I've done 12 builds... 4 of which are exactly the same builds I run in my mutationx v1... Muted flavor each time...

Not saying flavor is horrible just not as good as v1

My theory is that the way it cuts off the air flow ... With the v1 the airflow gets lower and lower as you cut it off

There is no real reason the flavor should be noticeably different. the jackets are the same. the only difference is the afc control and the driptip/driptip hole.

Exactly, which means he does not really understand how this stuff works (but sure likes to make bold statements )

Yes I do know how this stuff works... As I said above, the flavor out of the v1 is better... U won't get the same flavor out of every atomizer that's a fact and the mutation v2 it's just not like the v1

I do 12 builds on every new atomizer I'm testing out (if applicable... some don't do single coil)... From micro to macro, single coil, dual, rayon, cotton, close to wall, far from wall, 28ga, 24ga... Then test closed off to wide open with two different juices I make myself (so I know what the flavor is supposed to be)... That's the basis for my opinion...
