Authentic Sigelei 150

Hey guys. I got a sigelei 150 just because I was really interested. Not really my cup of tea neway but how do I check if its authentic. I got a lot of my mods and tanks from fasttech and they usually have scratch codes on them to check authenticity. Everyone has been authentic and my sigelei is also from fasttech but has no scratch codes. How do I check if it is real?? Thanks

I think there is a way, I recall a rubyroo video on the 150. Something like install one battery and press and hold the fire button will bring up the serial number?????

as nova said you can do this and it will give you a display after a few seconds of what chip is in it and what firmware it is running mine says yh sx330 v8.05 meaning the chip is the yihi sx330 chip with a firmware version of 8.05

Hi. I just tried this and it does not seem to work. I just installed one battery, kept the fire button pressed, but the display doesn't come up. Any thoughts?

You want to put the battery on the side closest to the buttons. I made that mistake at first. Hopefully that's what's wrong and it's nothing serious.

when you ordered from Fasttech, did the title/header say "authentic" in the description? if it did then its real, for some reason they remove the scratchoffs..... Ive ordered 2 SVDs from them and both had the label removed but they were in fact real Itaste SVDs...

Hey @pany I havnt got the tc so maybe the regular is different. I am simple but your message reads 'I just installed one battery, kept the fire button pressed, but the display doesn't come up. Any thoughts?' I take it you put the second battery in while you have the button pressed. Sorry if this is obvious.

Thanks for letting me know @pany. BTW can you use reg and tc modes on your mod or does it always have to be nickel?

You can use Regular VW Kanthal mode on the TC Version.
