Hey everyone. I have a question about the auto batteries. I have a couple where the draw seems to be a little airy compared to others. I read somewhere that if you plug one of the holes on the side of the terminal with a tip of a toothpick, it would make a tighter draw. Is this true? Will it harm the battery?

I to have been having trouble with the newer sealed batteries not coming on when they should and coming on when they shouldn't. I love Smokeless Image. Really I do. Their CS is second to none, but I am backing off ordering any more batteries for awhile. I wish they still carried the unsealed batteries. I never had a problem with them.

Are these new batteries? I dont know but I have been having bad luck new batteries I have received. All are airy and the draw delay before activation is longer than my ones that are a few months old.

Out of the 9 auto batteries I have, only 2 have the airy draw. It's not bad, just not as tight as the other autos or my manuals. I like a tight draw so that it's more like an analog.

I tried the trick with the toothpick and it worked. It is perfect now, im just not sure if it will mess the battery up. I'm hoping IMAGINE will chime in

I am in the same boat! I got 2 new black 65 autos replaced recently and honestly the replacements are the same.
