This morning, just as I arived at work, my atty in my pocket was getting hot. I found the LED is lit, even after disconnecting the atty. I put it in my desk drawer about two hours ago. Just checked it - it's still lit.

Should I be concerned it might explode? This isn't a mod, just the standard e-cig battery that comes with a kit.

Sometimes, I find blowing hard through the led end will be enough to stop the battery's brain fart.

If it was a "mod" you would not be having this problem. That's just one more reason why so many people have switched.

You probably have a stuck switch due to liqiud getting into the battery compartment. Auto batteries are not sealed like manual batteries are.

If you stay with the autos, make sure you buy plenty of batteries.

You can blow into it or rap it on the table and it may get unstuck. But once they start sticking it will just continue to happen.

An LED by itself puts a very small load on the battery and shouldn't stress it to the point of having problems. Eventually it will drain the battery to the point where it'll go out. I wouldn't worry at all about any potential damage.

But, at least you scored a battery connector. I'm waiting for one of mine to die for the sole purpose of hacking together a new power source!

I do have a mod, but the switch failed on me. I carry extra OEM batteries with my juice and spare carts for just such an occasion.

Well the battery isn't warm so I guess it's reasonably safe in my drawer. Tried blowing on it, tapping it, no luck. At least I'll have an 801 battery connector out of this.

I didn't notice your signature, lol. So the Stick went out on you? Doesn't it have a long warranty?

I've been very pleased with the Prodigy using 801 and BE112's attys. No problems or hassles.
