yeah, the full kit may not be the best price around. Plus, they include prefilled cartos, which i personally wouldn't really care to get. Like you, i'd rather have another atty.

I just figured up how much it would be to just order the kit a la cart, though. Not a bad deal.

2 black ego 510 - cone $2.79 $5.58
1 joye ego black ego 650mah battery $19.49
1 joye ego xl 900mah battery $21.49
1 joye 510 & ego ego 510 - usb fast charger $7.49
2 low resistance joye 510 atomizers $17.98

total $72.02
-20% $14.40
=$57.62
plus shipping $3

grand total $60.62

there may be a better deal elsewhere, but at least going a la cart, you can start out with a 900mah battery. For what i listed here, i did one of each.

where can i find this deal?

i started out with automatic batteries with cartomizers from v4l. But once i got the ego, i haven't looked back. The manual works just fine, the battery life is excellent, and i have learned how to drip efficiently, and it gives the best flavor/th/vapor. Love it. I still have my automatic with carts for backup, but i find that as long as i have an atomizer for each flavor, the ego is my fav.

Chalie, dripping is when you have an atomizer and a cartridge separately (the standard, as opposed to a cartomizer), and you drip liquid straight onto the atomizer. It's a stronger hit and cleaner. You have to do it more often though, since you don't want to flood the atty. I usually will just drip about 3 drops onto the atty, soak the cartridge, and vape about as much as a cig would have been back in the day before i need to drip again.

i tried to do that but with only 1 drop and it like "flooded"it, it would not hit for me

If you want to try dripping again, make sure that your atomizer doesn't already have lots of juice in it from your carts. Blow the atomizer out into a paper towel until nothing else comes out. Drop 1 drop at a time directly onto the bridge(looks like a microphone) and let them absorb. 2 drops is all I do, but when you have blown an atomizer out to clean it, it may need a few extra drops to prime it. If you do this, you should get a decent hit. But I've never had a Blu, so I can't tell you for sure that this isn't to much juice, and it may flood it. Give it a shot, if you can't get it to work, try dripping again when your new kit comes in.

I've never been a cart guy for that reason alone. Although I still get some juice while dripping every once in a while, it happens much less. People swear by carts though. You can modify them and make them work better from what I understand. Do a search on the forum if that interest you. I've just always been a fan of dripping. Little bit of a pain, but it taste best to me.

I made the aquarium foam/straw mod it works great

QUOTE= i have 555 , usa mix both from Nhaler and from t.w. i have apple, they all are ok with me, just next time im going to get like the 48mg stuff

I would wait till you got the eGo before I switched up to high on the MG...the eGo will make a difference in how the liquid is burned and the effect you get off of it will be far better then. If you did decide to get a 48 mg I wouild do a small size. That's strong and it will not really affect the throat hit by going up in mg

they are somewhat close in comparison..but I have heard the eGo is more recommended on most sites when you do searches on the forum... I have never had a Riva so I could not say anything about it by personal experience but i did a lot of research before I got my eGo ..plus the eGo has the new mega batteries, atty's and carts are great I have some of all of them and love them..

the button you press to use it on the manual battery lights up white on mine....some suppliers are different... Now I would not say you have to use the cone...mine works fine without it.... to me it's more of a cosmetic thing to hide and keep atty cart protected some but I will leave that to others to chime in on that one as to it's real importance because I maybe completely wrong on that one...I will be the first to tell you when I don't know something for sure...

Throat hit has more to do with the nicotine content of your juice than the device that you are using based on my experience. I'm down to vaping very low nic juices and I don't get a throat hit. I worked my way down so gradually that I don't even miss it. I do on the other hand like decent vapor production and 20% VG juice on my 510 attys do the trick for me.

The only battery that I have ever killed was an automatic and that was before I even tried dripping. Manual batts are just more reliable.

I am still waiting for my eGo to get here, but in my research about it I learned that the cone is "mostly" cosmetic. Reviewers said that it did make for a slightly higher resistance in the draw, and a little less vapor production, but it was not a significant difference. Like I said, This is not from my personal experience, just what I learned online...

I have been using the 24 to 26 mg...it's all of personal choice....the main thing you will get with higher mg is the higher nicotene and taste of nicotene in the flavor..some people like to taste the nicotene...plus the device you are using will burn it differently.i like a good throat hit that is full and smooth, plus i'm slowly trying to diminish nicotene use down...not to say that I would quit vaping though because I do enjoy it and would even use the 0mg juice if I could ever get there... this has been the only thing that could get me away from analog ciggs

same here its the only thing that works and i tried everything, even the nicotene inhalers from the doctor.....vap is awesome, and its sooooo tasty

Well Charlie..(that's my dad's name too...good name) looks like you are on your way to getting a pv (personal vaporizer) that you will like a lot....just add to it here and there and you will have a nice set. I hate when I see so many people taken by the shopping malls e-ciggs that are not worth a crap and fail most hard core smokers, plus I could care less if it looks like a cigg, I just want my fix without all the risk... Like I said earlier you can get adapters to attach different atty's and carts to your eGo and will get to in a way experience all the other models by doing that. Plus the LR atty (low resistance) gives a harder better hit if you can get one of those. Power is where a lot of your hit comes from...better batteries..better atties better hit. Also, if you learn to properly clean your atty's as they do gum up some after repeated use...they will last longer and after you clean them they will almost work like new...Another thing you can do is modify the filling in the carts that hold your liquid to help it wick better for you. I use blue aquarium foam with a little straw to help suck it into the foam inside my cart and it works like a charm..and the greatest thing is that on the ECF forum they tell you how to do all this stuff...video..pics...etc. They even have areas devoted to teach people how to make and build there own and places like madvapes that carry not only juice n stuff but the supplies to make your own mod. I've seen people who use flashlights, laserpointers etc. It's amazing how much you will learn quick about all this vaping stuff, when you first start its kinda overwhelming and like a foreign language but you will never regret it...the health you and your wife is worth it all..at least this will not kill you or make you sick...maybe your wallet because there are so many fun things to do with vaping LOL
