Well Charlie..(that's my dad's name too...good name) looks like you are on your way to getting a pv (personal vaporizer) that you will like a lot....just add to it here and there and you will have a nice set. I hate when I see so many people taken by the shopping malls e-ciggs that are not worth a crap and fail most hard core smokers, plus I could care less if it looks like a cigg, I just want my fix without all the risk... Like I said earlier you can get adapters to attach different atty's and carts to your eGo and will get to in a way experience all the other models by doing that. Plus the LR atty (low resistance) gives a harder better hit if you can get one of those. Power is where a lot of your hit comes from...better batteries..better atties better hit. Also, if you learn to properly clean your atty's as they do gum up some after repeated use...they will last longer and after you clean them they will almost work like new...Another thing you can do is modify the filling in the carts that hold your liquid to help it wick better for you. I use blue aquarium foam with a little straw to help suck it into the foam inside my cart and it works like a charm..and the greatest thing is that on the ECF forum they tell you how to do all this stuff...video..pics...etc. They even have areas devoted to teach people how to make and build there own and places like madvapes that carry not only juice n stuff but the supplies to make your own mod. I've seen people who use flashlights, laserpointers etc. It's amazing how much you will learn quick about all this vaping stuff, when you first start its kinda overwhelming and like a foreign language but you will never regret it...the health you and your wife is worth it all..at least this will not kill you or make you sick...maybe your wallet because there are so many fun things to do with vaping LOL

I don't know how long you've been vaping, but you have helping people down to a fine art. You have probably just gotten someone off of cigs! Good job.

I'm an 808 user, and I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but this is what I've come to. When I ordered my kit, I ordered automatic batteries and a manual USB pullthrough. I was so set on automatic batteries, because I didn't want to have to get used to pushing a button, and I felt like it'd be more like smoking an actual cigarette. As time goes on, I'm finding myself preferring my pullthrough. Tons of vapor, easier to hit, no (or extended) cutoff time. I'm looking into buying manual batteries when I get paid and only using my automatics for backup. I think people should try both and see what works better for them. I was so dead set on automatic, but found that I definitely prefer manual batteries.

I was the same way!! I knew I wanted an automatic because I didn't want to push a button, and I wanted it to be "just like smoking". After research, and reading countless posts on here, I decided to go with the eGo Manual. It's my first e-cig, and I haven't received it yet, but I'm certain it was the right choice.
