Automatic SI Passthrough?

Any chance of an automatic SI passthrough? When I use my 650 mAh X2s they run out of power in the passthrough mode despite running off 2A 5V chargers.

Hi Pilot, Unfortunately no as that can be very dangerous.

Thanks. Why would a dedicated automatic passthrough be more dangerous then using an X2 as a passthrough? Unfortunately, despite using a 5V 2A power source I find that my X2's run out of juice when in the passthorugh mode. Is this a safety feature?
