The AVA used High temperature virgin PTFE that is medical device grade for the insulting bushing.

I am insulted.

LOL, made in the US doesn't guarantee that they can spell or type accurately :D

Seriously though, I'm a bit frustrated with their customer service. I wrote to them a few days back regarding an ETA for a bottom feeder version and have not received a response. Way to turn off your future customers...

I don't think it will happen as the design as it stands now will not work with an open center post, it will leak right through....
but agree that they should let you know, then again we never know how busy people are...

Ahhh, ok that doesn't sound good. I was really excited to try one of these, but non BF version is a no-go for me.

I'd say be careful and wait and see.. Any atty this price needs to be tested for months before a consensus can be made regarding how long they last. And a warranty?? Save your money and go with what works for you in the past for now..

Not to be a prude, but how do I know this wont die out on me in one month compared to the other atomizers? I'm convinced but not entirely convinced to buy this thing. I have spent a good 100-200$ through cartomizers and atomizers. Sure, they have their ups and downs, but alternatively I turned to ecig because it would be cost efficiency, but now replacing cartomizers/atomizers have become another parasite towards my wallet.

I read the entire thread about this product. To me, it's another "gadget" with enhancement but did some thorough reading and didn't see any warranty about these other than receiving it prior to 3 day shipment. Then, there's the shipping price and the atomizer itself construction. Sure, it a fine craftsman but to me it's another piece of steel covered in ceramic which I find this impressive but still questionable whether if it's truly worth it or not.

In short, I just really want people's honest opinion on this device. Will it last long compared to the other atomizers? If so which piece is suitable for my joy ego 3.7 battery? I do enjoy a warm vape for a throat hit.

yes it sucks up the liquid good, but when broken in, they really rock, hope yours will work good for you!!!

Ps: I use them with a shield and drip them wet as hell, then hit them hard!!!

Will be in touch. Was dripping with it on my reo but will throw it on the vvpv today. Not bad but seems it burns up liquid like no tomorrow

You would think USA made = cost efficient, but then again China made = cheap. There's a good/bad comparison but then again both will end up the same in the long run that will need to be replaced. I slept on it and decided not getting these unless after maybe several months to see how the previous owners status of the atomizers are. I don't mind purchasing it but I'd say a two-three month warranty would be fair for an atomizer priced as this. If it were up to me and kicked back on soldering wires I would make my own long lasting atomizer. Problem is what wire will disengrate (sp) and what wire is long lasting. All it's needed is a proper conducted metal like silver or gold plated (yup you heard me right. Plated!) since they wont erode.

OK, Been using a pair of these Ava Atty's for some time now,,, the issue with them is a few things as far as I can see, 1st they are total leakers and done hold liquid in them very well at all,,,, they need to have ss/wool/mesh up under them and around the ceramic in order to hold liquids better,,,, thats one thing I would recommend right away,,, there is also a couple other things that I see, but I'm working on a rebuildable myself using ceramics so I'm gonna hold further on any comments. I will say that the flavor using ceramics is dam good, porous ceramic could very easily become popular if it is put together properly in an Atty to hold and deliver the liquid right. just my 2c here on this,,, if your using an Ava in a dripper mod with a nice drip well it would be ok but without an open center post like they are building them now I still say to wait till they have them with an open center post before you spend you $45 or so :)

Edit: took me almost 3 days to break mine in all the way too
