I use 26 ga k1, 3.5mm dia 5 wrap spaced for .8 ohms single J cotton only to the tops of the holes and she vapes perfectly at 40 watts which extends battery life. Never a dry hit.

This tank likes lots of cotton, I suggest you spend alittle more time on the wicking. Unless your getting air bubbles off of both holes on every hit you have too much cotton in the holes. I usually trim the ends down to a point in 4 directions and stuff the long end in the hole.

Good luck.

You either have too thick of cotton in your coil, too thick in the juice holes, or a combination of those. Thin out the tails before putting them into the juice holes and make sure you have just enough cotton in the coil to have a slight resistance when inserting it. Cotton packed too tight in the coil of a round wire build will burn and hinder the capillary action of the rest of the wick as the coil itself doesn't hold a lot of juice like a clapton build will.

The avocado 24 is a very easy tank to wick but most people having issues are generally using too much cotton.
