Well, I tried to mod my 401 atty so it draws better, but I actually killed it. If you want to, you can read about that here.

Anyway, now I needed a new atty, so I took one out, and just for kicks, decided to blow it out before the first use. I was amazed at how much liquid came out of a brand new atty. After I was satisfied that almost all of the factory liquid was out, I just primed it with 4 drops, let it soak in for a minute, then put on a freshly filled cart and started vaping. NO foul taste and plenty of vapor.

I think the suppliers should be getting on to the manufacturers about the bad taste we so often get from a new atty......we all happily call it the 'primer' and say it's only juice that doesn't taste very good.....but is it? is it simply just a crappy flavoured juice or is it something we shouldn't be vaping?? No one knows.

I take it a step further. After blowing it out, I'll work a paper towel in to the atty to the point it hits the bridge. Blow again a time or two, then stand it uprght in my pencil cup for an hour or so to absorb what's left in the bridge. Prime with a few drops of juice before I use it and am generally ready to go!

I roll up a piece of paper towel, stick it inside the atty and blow it out from the battery side. Then I'll blow it out from the cart side. I repeat until I can't get any more primer out. Then I put a couple of drops of juice on the atty bridge, pop in a cart, and vape away.

This has worked every time to avoid that nasty primer taste. And it's safer for your atty than soaking or using other cleaning methods.
