- High Current Threshold : they are good to run on high current draw incan lamps such as P90, TL-3, Strion and CA1499. They 'll even power up the Lumens Factory HO-9 ( 320 lumens ) and EO-9 ( 380 lumens ) on just 1 click ( use on EO-9 is not recommended ).

- New Anti-expolsion Vent/PTC Module : the new module provides an added layer of protection against gas built-up in addition to the PTC thermal protection. Unlike regular vents used by most LiIon cells, these new modules will actually stop the action by separating the electrodes inside the battery when the pressure reaches a preset threshold. The vent disc will open and release the gas plus stopping the cell from further chemical reaction. Combined with the PCB electronic protection and two layers of mechanical ( thermal and pressure ) protection, these new protected R123s are the first with these added safey features in place.

Specifications :

- 750mAH
- 3.7V nominal
- 16.62mm ( diameter ) X 34.29mm ( length ) - +/- 0.1mm
- Overcharge protection at 4.35V
- Overdischarge protection at 2.45V
- short / over-current protection
- max. recommended continuous discharge rate @1.5A ( 2C )

The vent module is laser welded to another component that is connected to the cathode. When gas built-up inside the cell reaches a preset value, the vent disc will separate from the cathode and open up to release the gas. When the +ve / -ve is separated, no more energy is released.

Regular vent/PTC setup - this vent will only release gas but it does nothing to stop the action by separating the +ve and -ve. The venting only stops when all the energy is released.

Mine came in Saturday, put initial charge on Sunday morning. Installed battery 11:30am and drop in performance started around 11:pm that night. I think I can deal with 11 and half hours on a charge! Great price for batts with this longevity and protection. I hope you plan to keep these around.

Thanks,
Isaac

Are you getting more of the batteries a long with the hv attys? I am crying at the thought of it..... I am vaping a sb with a dbsb top and ordered 8 3volt 900mah!!! none of them work unless I have a hv atty? A couple will work only if I charge them for a few hours, makes me sick...and I can only get a few hours of them!!

I ordered some AW bats and they were at my door the very next day (came from a neighboring city a few miles away) I was still impressed at the 24 hour delivery. Never had ANYTHING ship so fast to me before. I will be using them in my little chucks, when they are born. I looked for 10440 AW and could not find them, did I miss something or do they not make that size?

They don't make them in that size as of now:( When they do, a lot of people will beat a path to their door:D
RIMP:evil:

They do make an AW 10440 but it's not a protected 10440...I've a link though

Must have ordered from lighthound. I get my stuff in one day from them also. Gotta love it.

First day with my AWs for the Chameleon and I got about 9 hours of good use.

LOL I'm about 8 hours from houston, after all Texas IS a big state. Funny thing, if I choose USPS Priority Mail it takes 2 days. If I choose UPS ground I get it in one day. Unfortunately when ordering from them I have to pay sales tax. If I buy from out of state I don't have to pay the sales tax. There's always a trade off.

lol..I know it's a big state...I've almost got to go there several times...lol..last time I was in New orleans I tried to pop over to hit the lighthound store but the fiance wouldn't let me..said it was out of the way blah blah blah..I think she's just afraid of the damage I'd do to the bank account if left unchecked in their store..

as for UPS versus USPS...that actually makes perfect sense to me but then again I've worked for both...the advantage is USPS will deliver on a Sat...that and packages have a better surviveability rate with USPS...

Normally I hate UPS and much prefer USPS. But for this case UPS is better. I'm one of those weird people that actually thinks the USPS does a good job LOL. Of course I send out 150 shipments a day through the USPS and have much more dealings with them than the average person.

Yes and no. AW does supply lifep04 batteries as well, but at the moment they're insanely expensive. These do have a pcb built-in for protection. They use LiMN technology. Meaning safer Chemistry. They're more like a li-ion LifePo4 crossover, but last a ridiculous amount of time

Ok I'm confused and curious. The batteries you are speaking of in your post, are those the black with the silver label you had for sale on the site? If so they are NOT the AW LiMN batteries. The black with silver label are protected Li-ion batteries. The LiMN batteries are different.

This is the link for the LiMN batteries
