After I post about how long does your battery lasts you, and reading and watching some reviews, I had some really helpful answers. First I would like to say again that I am using a dc1.5 ohms carto and @ 3.4 volts. I woke up @ 6am and started with a freshly charged battery at 630 exact, well I had clouds of vapor around me till about 10:45pm. That is approx. 161/2 hours, not to mention I get sketchy when I see the battery level @3.5 volts so I stopped. I'm sure I could of took it down to around 3.3 volts (adding another hour or two maybe)but I'm overtly cautious, I vape pretty heavy and honestly I pretty much don't let go of my LT..

I hope this can help anybody that wonders how long is thus battery going to last using this device and this device only. Other devices may differ . And keep in mind that I took these notes using a 1.5 ohm dc running @ 3.4 volts.and locked that setting for the whole period.

If any vet could could tell me what voltage on my battery should I stop at I would really appreciate it.

Mahalo nui loa,

Brad.

I think the battery will stop at around 3.3

I usually recharge my IMR's at around 3.6 Really no need to go any lower since the vapor production drops.

Continued vaping until the battery stops is not good for the battery and can lower the life of the battery.

You were able to vape that long because you were using it at 3.4 volts. Which is low (for me). Others who vape at 5.0 or higher will not see long vape times like this.

What he said. That is why you want to use at least 2 Batteries in Rotation.

Is there an under voltage protection in the lavatube? I never let it get down far enough to notice.

Looks like it may have been taken out in the newest version. Phil Busardo's review version and the one I own I was not able to get to cuttoff. In attempting to do so I got mine down to 2.7. I watch very much now to make sure it never goes below 3.2.

Great info already given. I learned from another much more knowledgeable poster that AW batteries don't like full discharges and I generally will drop in second battery around 3.7, I have about 4 in rotation kept in cases. I never leave home without spare cart, battery and juice. I have a old mouse case i use to fit these 3 key items in all separated and juice in mini plastic bag.

Yes sad society, I do infact stop at 3.5vts . This was just a reference of what to expect from the kit and the battery life. Ty both for the response because I wasn't sure on how low these bad boys get to. I'm in search of another batt and like everyone else I want it cheap...lol...

I'm have these batteries on the way. Panasonic CGR18650CH 2250mAh - $7.99 : SmartVapes Electronic Cigarettes, Electronic Cigarette Not sure how they will do, but one review said they worked good in the LT.

Some have reported they do, some have reported they don't, the specs say it does.

Mine doesn't, the vape starts to drop off when the battery voltage gets below 3.5v which is where I'd charge it anyway no biggie but I've tested it down to below 3v to try and find it and it's not there.

Hey scott did you search it in this forums. Someone already looked it up. He said they are Aw's... I'm going off of his research not my opinion.

Thanks dude, You had to make me go do some research....

After doing some Google scouring and based on info I partially was already aware of I can say that AW is a supplier owned by Andrew Wong. AW sources from more than one manufacturer and has everything shipped to the company which is in China where they are assembled and shrink wrapped and labeled. Panasonic is one source they use. The IMR's on the the other hand manufacturer seems to be a mystery but not Panasonic from what I read. Regardless AW uses top quality products for their supply. I don't believe Panasonic made an IMR like the batt sad found until fairly recently and based on my limited search is the only IMR Panasonic makes which if you read the label is not indicated as being IMR. The IMR claim for the Panasonic cell is from a company statement.

If you're curious as to where I read it was some threads here, flash light forums, and a vendor site.

Interesting side note... And not sure if this applies to just Panasonic or other battery manufacturers... The highest rated cells are reserved for battery packs for various devices like laptops the "A" cells on the rating scale. The B and C rated cells are the ones that get sold to suppliers.

Cheers...

From my inquiries, unless you want to buy 24 (minimum) you should just hit up a vape or flashlight vendor for them. The only way to get the price down to anything like a steal is to order a gross (~$4.85 was quoted to me on the AW IMR's)
Awesome info. I never was into batts until I got into e cigs . How can I order from Aw? Or is it just for mass bulk?

AW stands for Allen Wang...Allen Wang (that is the name he uses anyway) is a Chinese gentleman that got his start selling batteries in the Candle Power forums (flashlight enthusiasts) and became popular for drop shipping cheap batteries to the USA. I'm not sure about the Andrew Wong name.

Hey SAD, please post when you get them, maybe a little review after a day or so?

Sure. I plan I doing one anyway. I hope they turn out O.K.
