To clean or replace the atty could you just remove the coil assembly clean and reinstall it or just replace it with a new atty coil?

What size is the syringe diameter and where do you get them?

Also great work man!

I know everyone has there favorite way to clean atties. I usually just fill my bottle with distilled water screw it into my atty mod and squeeze in through slowly a few times. Let it dry on napkin for a few hours then squees some juice and let it sit overnight. then squeeze a couple of more drops and vape away. I don't take anything apart. I used to do the dry burn method with work ok but nothing works better that flushing with distilled water and then letting it sit in some clean ejuice overnight. I suppose it wouldn't be to much trouble to pop the coil assembly out and clean it if you really wanted to do that.

Thanks for the kind words about my mod. I appreciate that.

Sweet I am back. I just learned a valuable lesson. READ THE DAMN RULES BEFORE POSTING. I can be a knuckle head sometimes. Anyway, I have my membership status back but you will notice I am now a "registered supplier". So before I talk anymore about selling anything to you guys I am going to thoroughly read the rules again to make sure I don't get in trouble again.

I would also like to add that all of the kind words I have recieved in E-mail, PM's, in this thread, and on youtube is really great. Makes the effort and time I put into this mod worth it. I am glad you all appreciate it. Thanks. Vapors RULE!

OK guys I am not allowed to discuss selling stuff in this forum. If you decide to not build this mod yourself but still want one, you may want to visit the "modder-accessories-supplier-forum" and see what is available there. If you have any questions or need info about Doing it yourself, then by all means ask me what ever you like in this thread.

Hey guys, Thanks for the E-mail. Please do me a favor though. Post your questions on this thread so that others can use the information also.

I recieved an Email that asked if it matters how high or low the ole is drilled in the atty? To so extend it does matter. it needs to be atleast higher than where the seal will be on the atty and low enough so that it doesn't effect the cap seal inside the atty. Refer to picture #5 and #9 in the original post.

The other question was. Why don't I just set some sort of wicking material between atty cap and the atty bridge so that I don't have to take apart the atty. Well, ruth be told. I have already started experiment with that and I think I have come up with something. Remember, I hate leaking. I'd rather give the mods a couple of pumps that have fluid run out of my PV. I plane to post the video as soon as I am sure it works as good as the original wicking system.

Thanks for the questions. please put future questions in this thread. Good day

this is excellent! im not going to try making one of my own just yet, but when i build up the marbles i will. in the meantime, i hope someone contacts you soon to take your idea and turn it into a production model based on your engineering.

question... what happens if someone floods their atty? how difficult is it to take it apart to the point where you can either clean it out or at least blow out the excess juice?

What a coincidence you asked that. I just ran across an issue. I might as well post it here and then I will send an e-mail out to those who have ordered. The atties I use are anti reverse flow. Meaning you can suck in but it is very hard to blow back through. What this means is when you slide the mouth piece over the seal you have to be carefull not to put fingers or thumbs over the mouthpiece hole or this will pressurize the tank. When you remove your hand you will realize you did this because you will here the woosh of air come out of the mouth piece tip. When you here that woosh of pressurized air come out the tip, the tank is also depressurizing. If you are unlucky enough to have been holding your atty lower than the tank a bunch of fluid will be pushed out. I don't know why after all this time testing and using the mod i did not run across this issue before. However, the mod still works as advertized if you are careful not to plug the hole when sliding the mouthpiece past the seal. It is normal for the inside of the tube to get moist after vaping for awhile because some of the vapor condenses in the vapor chamber. This is normal for all cartridges. You just don't see it because it is hidden within the cartridge as it is with the mouth piece on the mod. The only difference is you will see this condensate when you slide off your mouthpiece but it will stay contained with-in the unit and will not leak outside you PV.

OK, now to answer the question. This is what I did to clear it out. I removed the mouthpiece and swabbed it out whith a rolled up piece of napkin. Then I removed the bottle wiped down the atty and put an empty bottle on and vaped away until it was clear. The atty I use works just fine even when flooded. If it is a DIY project using a different atty and you must clear the atty, you could squeeze a bottle of distilled water through and then let dry or burn it dry (I don't like burning dry. I feel like it shortens life of atty but I don't know).

Hope this helps.
