I've had my Apaptever mod since mid-October and love it. I have one charger and 4 batteries. I don't need that many batteries but I like to be prepared. Never know when I'll end up sitting in an emergency room all night or in the hospital for a few days.
Anyway, it's a tank. I've accidentally dropped it several times from say 3-4' and never had anything break on it. It's landed on concrete, ceramic tile, cement pavers. Never had an issue with it. It comes with a spare parts bag (which I do carry around with me in my supply bag, Just in Case). As of yet I have not had to use any of these parts. But it is good to have for my own peace of mind.
I carry the charged batteries in the little clear battery cases I bought from Battery Junction while the spent batteries go in a blue case.
I've always used an 801 atomizer because I like it. But with this unit I am able to use a 510 or a 901 by just changing the adapter. I can also use it at 3.7V or 6V. Although I have not been interested in going beyond the 3.7V as of yet. But with this unit I do have that option. Hence, the name I guess. ADAPTEVER. Atomizers and voltage options.
I did quite a bit of research before I bought it. It's worth the money, in my opinion. It's a no LED's, no fuss, no frills unit. And I bought it because I thought it would be just that. It's a work horse. It's well-built, dependable and easy to use and it works every time. AND, I might add, it's a hand made unit. A very well made one at that. Check the website. AdapteveR.com.
Thad, the guy who makes them, is a great guy to deal with.
