I love my cartos. Best flavor device I've found.

I admit when it's time to prime a new carto I find it to be a small PITA but once it's done and the tank is filled I'm back in love again.

I have a few cartos I really like but none deliver the flavor of a carto IMHO. I do get the ease of use you speak of. My iClear30S is simplicity at it's best and it delvers great flavor for a couple days.

I've just recently started vaping a high VG juice and have not yet tried it in a carto. I'm wondering how it's going to perform. Assume I may have to enlarge the pouch holes in the carto.

I found that the clearo/tanks take a while to bed in, at first not special but then they develop nicely, as one person said it's just being lazy that I don't like setting up a cart/tank.
I wanted to a vv batt so decided to go all in on a Provari, although it's very heavy the clearo/tank looks nice on top, got a pro tank with it and it's not even close to being as good as the nova.I read much about ohms and voltage but for me it's also different flavors react differently in the same set up, maybe I'll give the carto/tanks another blast in the future, I did try single and double punched but not enough diff for the hassle of set up.

You might want to do search of the forums for Aerotank base. My Protanks frustrated me until I put the Aerotank base on my Protanks, just a thought.

It's funny how different setups work for different people. The worst device I ever used was an iTaste 30 tank. I won't be using it again. Cartomizers can be pretty flavorful but they are a pain to replace. And depending on the juice the draw can get pretty tight in a hurry. I currently use carto tanks with the By Leo Sophia's. Basically it turns a cartomizer tank into a bottom coil clearomizer. I also like my Kayfun lite. With either one they obviously depend on the build, but I've found what works for me. I guess that's the bottom line.

It is an individual choice, and personally I'm getting a little tired of the "carto tanks are so much better" folks. I prefer clearos, but the fan club for cartos is so enthusiastic that I wasted a fair amount of money trying to find that magic. Well, I love my Davide and my protank minis, and I didn't like any combination of cartos and tanks. I think we should all just relax and let people figure out what works best for them.

I've never used a carto tank yet. But i'm going to try one, and i hope i like it because i want to order an IBTank.
Because i can customize it just the way i want it! So i'll pray that a "cheaper" one won't put me of. (just going to test it hence cheap)
I got that recommendation from OCD. Which is quite a good idea, so i don't spend alot of money on something that i might end up not using. :)

Sometimes it may just be you're used to vaping what you're used to vaping... I had completely put my Top coil I-clear 30's away until I found a pack of unused Heads last week. The frugalness inside insisted that I try and use up the heads so I broke the I-30 back out and put it in rotation. Odd as it may sound I started to remember the things I really liked about the device. I am vaping off of it as I compose this and all is stellar. Perhaps we just have a built in tendency to advocate for the devices we are using...Provided they function fairly well. Who knows really..it's late and the weekend with both Grandkids has worn on me...Carry on ;)

Grab a 5-pack of cartomizers first and see if you like them. If you don't, don't even bother with carto tanks. The tanks will not make your cartos taste/work any better.

Yea i know, i'm going to buy from a guy at SWE efc probably. Due he had spares that he didnt use anymore.
But i've heard that some carto "heads" are better than others. And as for tank goes, the cheaper ones doesn't fit (so it'll cause leak / non vacuum etc) as good as IBT from what i've read. But damn they're beutiful so i'll pray that i like em ^^

Because i want a big stylish tank that fits well on a purple nemmy. (which i'vent been able to find, until i found out about IBT)

Please, don't believe everything you read on the Internet. ;) What's SWE?

Anyway, the best cartos are LR Boge and Smoktech, single coil. They are widely available.

I have in my collection the cheapest tank in the world--Boge f15. I bought it a long time ago for 4 bucks. It still can be had for that price (and it comes with a laser prepunched Boge carto already installed). Works flawlessly. :D Doesn't leak. No fuss no muss.

Well... That's a different conversation altogether. :p

I've had the same experience as Katya. As long as the tank does not leak air, it's golden. I use Mom and Pops sub tanks. They cost about $12 if I remember correctly. Doesn't get much cheaper than that ;). I also punch my own Boge cartos so they are not perfectly round.

Once I figured out how to use this stuff properly, I never had any problems. I'm using one that's about a year and a half old on a Spinner that I take when I go out sometimes. If I had stayed with cartos as my main vape tool, I would have got into nicer ones with more convenient features, but that's not necessary for them to work well.

Vape on :)
