The genius of simplicity, as well as a great vape, what more could one want ;)

Information, safety features, and temp control. Modern regulated mods allow you a lot more control over your vaping experience, imo. Several of em also have a bypass mode, too.

Just not much of a fan of using a battery tube with a switch when there's excellent, cheap technology specifically made for vaporizers.

To each his own, though.

Not for this woman. What's complicated about pushing one button for one function, instead of menus and sequences of menus and settings and all that business? No chips in it, and your build is your control. I see nothing complicated in it at all.

I hope you like your coffee black and your Scotch neat ...if yes then you're a purist like me ! ;)
...but my other little quirk is that I only use stainless steel mech mods, no copper, brass or aluminum mods for me.

Yes, to each his own, variety is the spice of life :)

I would argue however that even though it won't count puffs or electronically limit my temp that mechs provide a broad range of control by the type of build installed. Let's just say, a good driver with a manual transmission muscle car will have more control than a mediocre driver with an automatic and traction control. The safety factor I'll give you, if it's in the wrong hands.

I agree on the battery tubes though, not such a big fan myself...

Well no, I like my coffee with cream and sugar, and I don't drink scotch I drink absinthe, but as far as my vapes go yeah, I'm a purist and pretty old school about it. Nothing but authentic gennies on authentic Poldiacs for me, and the gennies are built with mesh and kanthal as they were meant to be.

Have a peek, why are these guys calling this a hybrid top cap ?

Brass Hybrid Top Cap
For sales appeal. Labeling it a "Fake Hybrid" would be self defeating.

A real hybrid with a dedicated atomizer that screws directly into the same threads that adopter fits, is a very different, & a much safer, setup.

Fair enough I can dig it

Can you point me to a 'definitive' definition of 'hybrid' ?
Use crayons, majick markers, chalk (colored if possible) and the voice of either patches or pockets to explain to me yes?

Oh, and please explain what the sex appeal of marketing something as a hybrid would be, over non hybrid

Video please.

Clear view of face during entire video will be necessary.

And I'd like an in depth description of all the nuances and undertones.

Please.

And thank you.

No one can appreciate the time I 'took off' from the vaping scene, not vaping, but just doing my own thing, all the while this completely ridiculous things called hybrid came about.

geezus, put a battery in it and vape. Dayum

I mean seriously , hybrid what, frog+tree or better yet battery + frog? Hybrid frog battery yea that's it, sound marketable.

Excellent!

Myself I was not aware just how disposable a ~$100 regulated mod was until recently.
when the electronics die it is not hard to replace them with a small switch and a mosfet and have a very good mech box mod. for low power vapers a mosfet is not needed. just a good switch like this one 16mm Start Horn Button Momentary Stainless Steel Metal Push Button Switch DT. mosfets are also pretty cheap 10Pcs IRLB3034PBF IRLB3034 HEXFET Power MOSFET TO-220 so burnt out regulated mods make a great base for a mosfet box mod
