I'm a couple weeks into vaping and getting very frustrated. I got a 510 kit which was a mistake, the batteries are horrible. I get a few decent puffs out of them and they stop delivering. The USB pass through does well but the cord is making me crazy. I'm definitely going Provari for the bottom end.

I'm having trouble with the top end stuff too. The 510 carts are terribly designed, they need filling every 5 minutes and you can't help but drip juice down the tiny air holes. I gave up on them and got a Nova.

But the Nova leaks like crazy if it's not upright. What I do like is the lack of maintenance. Clean it once in a while and it keeps going.

Can someone recommend a 510 top end that doesn't leak if carried in a pocket or briefcase horizontally and is easy to maintain? Or does anyone make a plug for the drip top that would stop the leaking?

Sorry for the rant but I'm sitting here with gear that just isn't working for me and I'm ....... Skoot doesn't play nice when he doesn't get his nic.

Why not try the very popular Kanger T3? I never had one leak (if you're reasonably careful, like, don't put it upside down in your pocket) and they perform very well. Easy to clean as well.

Just don't use it with dark juices unless you want to clean them constantly. My T3's clogged up after just a few hours of semi-dark juices like Dr. Pepper or blueberry.

I'll second the Kanger T3's. Been using them daily for about a month and no issues with leaking. I have 5 that I rotate through, plus a few extra, and never had an issue with any of them. Plus they're cheap, as are the replacement parts. I would recommend getting the clear/colored ones rather than the metal since I find it easier to fill (since I can see the juice) but haven't had any leakage with them either

Kanger anything they make works well for me but my favorite is my VMOD bottom feeder no leaks and works great for me.

My thoughts exactly. I have fiddled around with just about everything, carts, tanks, attys, and various mods. I was always having problems of some sort with everything. Leaking, flooding, bad hits, etc, etc, Im sure you know the routine.

Once I got my Vmod I never have any problems at all. The best part is the Vmod is very low maintenance and never leaks. I'm pretty much done with all mods unless its a bottom feeder.

I have one flavor that I keep in a carto tank. It usually hangs out horizontal in the bottom of my purse. carto tanks have a learning curve but when you "get it" they work wonderfully. Mine are the cheap "dc" tanks (xl..45mm SS cartos) If you want something flashy, more expensive ones are out there.

I started with a 510 kit and quickly moved up. They did get me off cigarettes though.

Using a few different carto tanks and clearo on my Visions 1300mah Spinner Ive found I really have very little to no leakage.
I use the UDCT, they lock on the bottom with a screwon ring, your tank cant slide up and down on the cart. The cart is a 510 SMOKTECH 1.7 ohm XL S.S. TANK STYLE RESURRECTORS that crystal clear carries. The other thing I do use alot is the new vapeonly BCC mega clearomizer. It does hit a little harder because of the small air holes and if your setting it flush to a mod it can be a problem. I used a cone between the battery and the vapeonly that lets plenty of air in, with a ego style battery tho I had no problem with air. I perfer bottom feeders, I dont care for a hot vape. I used the tanks because they can hold so much more I get a few days out of one before having to fill again. Id never go back to using just a cart alone. I do love my Spinners is a good all around work horse of a battery for me anyway.

my t3 is leaking constantly.

ughhhhh and I'm not a fan of dark juices specifically for that reason

only thing that hasn't leaked on me yet is the mini vivi nova.
unless u take the drip tip out and turn it upside down u should be good

I mean I carry it around with me in a little velvet pouch in my purse.

have u thought about using one of those ego cases? I have the small one and it keeps stuff from moving around too much

and yea try like boge cartos - they don't leak unless u overfill them

I'd say try an eVOD. I throw mine in my bag and since the mouthpiece is all in one connected, it doesn't leak even if I turn it upside down. I know there were some people having problems with leaking somewhere around here but I've never had an issue. It's pretty awesome on an eGo twist.

those eVODs are pretty badass looking. do they have replaceable parts?

Bottom coil clearomizers that you fill with the supplied syringe (must fill them upside down though) and the Vision Spinner variable voltage PV (I have 2 so I never have to wait for my batteries to charge). I have been using this setup for about half a year. The battery last a day or two, I only have to fill the clearomizer every day or two, and they never leak.

I will also give the Kanger the nod.. Great Clearo, bottom coil, easily filled, easily cleaned. does not leak, well maybe a drop or two out of the bottom.. take off the battery a quick flip and droplet is gone. I personally dont use them anymore, but i keep it on hand just in case i have an issue and begin to get frustrated. it vapes great and does not mute the taste too badly.

I can hold this in any direction I want and never get a single drop leak.
