I bought a smokestik from a liquor store back in the beginning of september, i was smoking a pack and a half a day when i bought it and had a hard time transitioning.. the smokestik was one of those cheap cig style e cigs that never held a charge and produced lousy vapor. so i bought a tornado and over a couple days i was off cigs. i moved to 6 volts with a silver bullet and couldnt look back to low voltage, so when my batteries went bad in the middle of december i was in trouble. the tornado couldnt satisfy and i went back to analogs. 2 weeks ago i began using my tornado again but still smoked analogs when i was out. I just recieved my brand new darwin and have only had one analog today and didnt even enjoy it after a few hours with my baby..lol. i might still have an analog tomorrow because its more than nicotine, like the additives that only an analog helps. All in all in the next couple of days i will more than likely not have another analog.

I started vaping a little over three weeks ago, took to it right away and never looked back. My partner, on the other hand, is having a more difficult time with it. Once we discovered that PG liquids don't agree with him, I started him on pure VG flavors and he's doing better, but he still smokes about nine analogs a day in between vaping. I don't miss the analogs in the least.

it seems a cheep e-cig make switching harder, and after vaping for a while going back makes you sick/ill feeling.
I started with a 510 so I didn't have any issues to speak of. And now I have another reason never to go back. The fear of the "Analog fever", the sickening feeling of smoking an analog after long time vaping

Unfortunately not everyone can quit easily. I for one have tried to completely quit using analogs for 2yrs with no success. At work I have no problem vaping but at home and when I'm out and about seems to be much more difficult for me. On the plus side I have cut back from almost 2 packs a day to less than 1/2 a pack.
Just remember everyone is different and what works for one does not necessarily work for someone else. :D

Malyden has a good point in that last sentance, "what works for one does not necessarily work for someone else". Very true.

I guess it all boils down to the fact that not all smokers are created equal... nor are e-cigs, for that matter. I'm just days under 5 months without an analog, and really believe I won't ever go back to them. For me, though, it was definitely a matter of finding the right e-cig... comparing my eGo to the first e-cig I tried is like comparing an SUV to a bicycle. Some people greatly diminish the amount they smoke, and I say, "Hoorah" for them, too.
