after over a year with out an analog i tried to smoke one. took 3 drags and wondered how i ever managed to smoke 10 of them a day... it was the worth thing ever... i smoke cigars once in a while. i might smoke 2 or 3 a year. they can have some fantastic flavors, various woods, pepper, white spice, leather, nuts are some of my favorite flavors in a cigar. i hate "flavored / infused" cigars with a passion. the ones i like are just properly fermented tobacco blended into a cigar by an artist. analog cigs taste worst than a dry / burnt hit off a sub ohm rda.. analogs flavors are like gross chemical tastes with a touch of burnt cat feces.

I haven't smoked an analog since I started vaping, l literally quit the same day because I had a cold and it hurt to inhale tobacco.
I'm curious to know if anyone here smoked an analog after a prolonged period of strictly using vapor? and if so what was the experience like?

I quit smoking 2 years ago. Like you the day I started vaping I never looked back. Except for changing tastebuds I loved everything about vaping.

Then THE tornados hit Alabama, we didn't have electricity for 2 weeks. I managed to continue vaping because I had 10 batteries for the first week. Then I charged them in my car until I got down to 1/2 tank and I just needed to conserve gas incase of an emergency. All my batteries went dead and I had to turn to analogs.

When I first smoked that first cigarette pack, I had to choke everyone of them down. It was so gross. I couldn't wait for electricity to come back so I could vape again. After another week of analogs I was use to the taste by then, so when I could charge my batteries I went back to vaping and could NOT stand any of my juice flavors. Nothing I tried tasted right AT ALL.

The first year after I periodically tried to go back to vaping and couldn't stand the flavors. Now at the 2 year mark and I am finally vaping again but it is still a struggle. I smoke about 2-3 analogs a day still. I am still trying to find THAT one flavor that makes it easy to put analogs down. A good "All Day Vape" flavor like I use to have.

I don't know why it was so easy to quit that first time but I do know if your ever in the same situation I was in. You can't just pick it back up. Your tastebuds change and your flavors you like change. I was 4-5 months into vaping and that far along in my vaping journey. You have to start all over if you have to smoke again.

Advice have plenty of batteries charged. LOL

It's crazy how bad smokers smell to me now,I was a stinky sucker lol

I agree completely, at times I vape with smokers because many of my friends smoke when I go out. I feel like I now know how non-smokers felt when I was the bad guy. with that said even when I smoked I tried to be aware of my surroundings and not annoy non-smokers ppl.

Not sure what constitutes prolonged period of time, but I'm thinking you mean 3+ months. I haven't experienced that while being a vaper, but have when going cold turkey.

IMO, just like first time I smoked, if you want to smoke, you'll find way to like it and justify having another. If you are unsure or thinking you don't want to make a habit out of smoking (again), you'll find reasons to hate it.

I smoke moderately currently. A pack a month. When I have a half a smoke, I really enjoy it. Compared to taste of vapor, it tastes poor, though IMO, not horrible. I tend to find smoking just a wee bit more satisfying per use, and truly enjoy using it moderately. When I've smoked heavily (PAD or more), I had maybe 3 to 5 a day, at most that were truly enjoyable and rest were attempt to satisfy endless craving. I no longer crave smoking and really pick my moments carefully when I will likely enjoy it. Not every smoke I have now is enjoyable, but many are. Likewise, not every vape I have is enjoyable, but many are.

for some reason unknown to even me I crave a smoke about every 3 weeks or so...usually a single puff of my daughters smoke sets me straight and I remember how horrible it tastes, however I had an extremely stress filled day on Christmas and during a trip to the ER forgot my mod....I did finish an entire smoke with difficulty but I really needed to calm down.

I do not want to start being a smoker again

To me, analogs taste like .... logs but they're much more rewarding than vaping juice. It isn't the taste that I enjoy, but the feeling. I feel analogs change my mindset more than vapor even though I'm using 18mg pretty regularly. I just started so I'm hoping to soon find my ADV that will get me to not find any reason to touch an analog again. Contemplating trying some 24mg or maybe even WTA to try to get fulfillment from vaping.

I have smoked 2 analogs since I started vaping. More out of curiosity than a desire for one. The first one was about 3 weeks into vaping. It wasn't bad tasting but the ashtray after taste was a killer. Had to vape some fireball to get rid of the taste. I tried another one about 3 weeks later. It was nasty from the get go. And it was the brand I used to smoke a PAD+ of. I can't believe I used to like those things. Those 2 analogs was enough to prove to myself that I am truly done with them forever.

It looks like cigarettes are as close to tobacco as paste is to meat.

I haven't wanted an analog since I kicked up my nic level to 36mg nic in my ejuice. I've loved vaping ever since. I can breathe better, have more energy too.

Now the analog smell sickens me, can't believe I walked around smelling like that for 28 years.

IMHO, if you are still craving analog cigarettes, try bumping up your nicotine level in your ejuice and see if you want a cig then.
