After Many months of searching, I have settled on my main out and about Mod as an MVP 30W and a Kanger Sub tank Mini. I still love my e-pipes & drippers at home, but it is really nice just to grab the MVP and go, no extra batteries, parts, juice bottles, etc.

I have been carrying my old MVP2 & a Nautilus as a backup, but the vape and flavor is very different then my main, it really doesn't work as a backup.

After doing a ton of research I have decided that I will be going with the Subtank nano, but I am at a loss for what mod to get.

My only must have is that it needs to output at least 20 watts and stay around $70 or under. I want something smaller then the MVP 30W which is the reason I have not just picked up on of those.

I would like on board charging but it is not a must have.

I am open to either a box or tub style.

i have looked at the iStick 30, but I am not sure the lip on it will look good with the nano.

Okay EFC, let me know your thoughts!

I now have 3 different rigs I carry....Istick 20W with a Kayfun as a main vape, Nemesis 18650 with a Erlkinogen on the top as a backup( I bought both tanks as an experiment to see which one I like better. I like both) and an old Kamry K200 that I paid way too much for at a vape shop in PCB and I'm now just curious how much longer its gonna last.

But as a rule, I vape what I like till I get some spare change, by something completely different to experiment with and if it works good I just buy a bigger carry case and carry them all.

(With one exception, in my vape box on the Kitchen counter is an Ego 18650 mod that is my true backup.)

I'd bought a ZNA 50 for a back up to my Sigelei.
To make a long story short, my Igelei has become my back up.
You can find a ZNA 30 online for $30 shipped.
Well made device and it holding up nicely.
Fits the hand nicely & nice fire button.

Jim

Jim - Where did you find the ZNA 30 at? I have looked at the sites that I normally buy from and they do not carry it.

If you can't use your backup PV for a hammer, and still vape it ... it isn't a reliable backup. The damn thing should still work even if Hell freezes over!
This is what I consider my backup PV.

It's over 4 years old, and even fell out of my duck blind a few years back, and spent a week in the mud at the bottom of Ogden Bay. It still works & looks like brand new.

Well you should know that it won't have a $49.99 Evolv chip set in it if it only costs $25.99
