You can always fill them with an epoxy Matt. Get a aluminum 2 part then buff it up

I was thinking this too. At first I was concerned with the safety, and almost glad the holes were there, but then after taking it apart, saw there were three vent holes already drilled into the end cap. I might give that a go next week. Other than that, I'm overall happy with it's performance. Love the bottom switch. Appreciate the tips guys.

I see your point. If it doesn't bother you then I'd say the hell with it and don't waist any time messing with it. LOL

I LOVE the bottom switch on them. I thought it would take some getting use to but it's the most natural feeling PV I've ever used. If you hand me anything else that has a side button it drives me crazy having to feel around finding the damn thing. LOL Another great thing about these little guys is extra weight vs. and ego. I can ride at 75mph (in my previous life prior to Monday) and it stays right there around my neck hanging from my lanyard. No more flopping around worrying it's going to fall off. LOL
